> 3 daySuction seems good on a vinyl floor. We have tons of pet hair and it gets it. Seems to hit every area. Gets easily hung up by the overhang of our stairs and then asks me to move it to new location, which is a little annoying. It’s not whisper quiet while vacuuming but when it goes to the base and empties itself it’s very loud for about 5 seconds. If you’re not home, who cares! Still an amazing feature well worth the extra $.

> 3 dayMake home cleaning easy. The I robot rumba is a great addition to a daily cleaning routine. Easy to set up and easy to use.

> 3 dayI have an I3 and did not have any issues connecting it to my wifi. This I4 will not connect, there is no way to schedule it or access any features without wifi.

> 3 dayI have a smaller home with lots of legged furniture. I was worried that it would have trouble mapping the house or efficiently navigating these obstacles. I was wrong! It’s a very intuitive device and that cleans in more hard to navigate spaces than expected. The set up, mapping, and use require next to no engagement or effort from me - just turn it on and forget about it! It can vacuum the whole house on a single charge, but I was curious what it would do if it ran out of battery, so I set it up to fail. It vacuumed a couple rooms before returning to its station to charge. Then it got right back to work in the same area it left off! I’ve been using it every other day since I got it and I never see dust bunnies roaming anymore. It picks up everything from cat hair, litter, dust, leaves, grass - anything small and dry, from my LVP, tile, and carpeted rooms. Best investment I’ve made all year.

> 3 dayI love Roombas...Ive had 3 over the years, and they are great if you have the right setup for them. Doesnt eliminate vacuuming entirely but really spreads it out, especially in main areas. My problem with this one is that I bought the base that empties itself, and had no idea it requires disposable bags! They are expensive! I would never have bought it had I realized that - I hate dealing with disposable bags, and its completely unnecessary. I would rather dump it out myself. They could definitely design this with something you wouldnt have to replace when you empty it. This just seems like a money grab to me. Save your money and get the version without the self-emptying bin that requires expensive refills every time.

> 3 dayWe use this unit in our upstairs with 3 carpeted bedrooms sitting area. I gave it a 3 on the noise level because it is LOUD when it empties. It is reasonably quiet while vacuuming. Battery life is not great, but given all the moving parts, this is probably expected for the size of the area it has to clean. As other comments indicate, it will get hung up on area rugs. I would not recommend it if area rugs have tassles or fringe, or are particularly thick. I bought another one from a big box retailer. Slightly different model but works the same and has the same parts. Ive had no problems with connectivity, or reporting with either. The mapping feature works great and keeps it from taking a dive off the steps.

> 3 dayThis is the fourth Roomba I have purchased. This is likely the last Roomba I will ever purchase. I bought it for the self-emptying feature so that I didnt have to remember to empty the bin every night. I also liked having a smart map so that I could schedule it to clean different areas of the house each day. The battery life was also longer than the previous robot, so, between scheduling smaller areas and the extended battery life, it would fun for a much shorter period each day. Well, it all sounded great until it came to actually performing. Some days it would back off the platform while turning get stuck--no cleaning those days. Other days it would report that it was stuck. When I came home it would be sitting in the middle of a room with no obstacles anywhere close. Other (many) days it would report that it had rebooted and just be sitting with its light blinking. Most of those days it would report an error with multiple options to clear. I tried all of them to no avail. I bought the vacuum to be a timesaver, not to spend my time troubleshooting a buggy, unstable system. iRobot, Ive enjoyed your products for over a decade. If this is the best you can produce now, Im afraid we will have to part ways.

> 3 dayI have an apartment with hard wood floors throughout. I used to try to vacuum everyday (impossible). My floors constantly had tufts of fur everywhere. 2 Ragdoll cats and an English Cream Golden Retriever make tons of fur. Now Roomba vacuums every morning and the floors are clear of fur and bits of dog chews. I am so impressed!

> 3 dayI was so excited to finally splurge on a Roomba - I have two dogs and live where fir needles are a constant in the house. After running it the first time, my excitement died down. My roommate and I agreed that it was a good in-between cleanings vacuum. Something to help keep the amount of needles down, but if companys coming over we need to use the upright vacuum. Weve used it a handful of times now, and yesterday was the worst run yet. It missed large areas of some rooms, while going over others 3-4 times. It definitely does not do straight lines! I wish I could elect to do specific rooms, but I wasnt ready to spend that much for those models. I dont know that I would purchase it again, but I will continue using it for the in-between cleanings.
