Greater than one weekSome online review says, this is the same Vaccum as i7 or i6 except the camera. It probably is the case but the difference in performance is huge… this has gotten stuck over the edges of a cliff a couple of times (did not fall) and 1 out of 5 times it cannot find its way back home. That’s why 1 less star. Does excellent job with dog hair, sharp sucks comparatively. Battery life is superb… Lastly do not buy Amazon warehouse deals… the i6 I bought from warehouse deals has gone useless after 3 months because it won’t even start.

18-11-2024Wanted to get this to help manage dog hair in my tiny apartment. It does an okay job on wood/hard floors but is pretty lacking even with a low-pile rug. What’s more disappointing is how often this thing gets stuck, which is literally every time I use it. It will get stuck behind doors, under tables, under the couch, under the bed. If there’s somewhere it can get stuck, it will, and even when you try to help it out, it either goes right back and gets stuck again or just will fritz out and stop working until you carry it back to the dock. Would not recommend this model.

> 3 dayI can control it from the app which is perfect. I have it for a pet that is staying for a few days and its cleaning up after him each day. its been a pleasure to have in my home. Noise level could be a little more lower, however, it is a vacuum at the end of the day so you should expect to hear it. The dog is afraid of it. lol

> 3 dayThis series is the only few vacuum robots that are not made in China and doesn’t have a camera spying on you. It can also cross thresholds reliably.

> 3 dayThis is my first robot vacuum and I was surprised that, for as long as robot vacuums have been around, the lack of suction on this vacuum, we’ll, sucks. There are several little pieces of leaves or grass that are still there after this vacuum goes over and over and over. Also, it didn’t really occur to me how antiquated it is to use vacuum bags again. I think we’ve moved on from the vacuum bag era. to offer a container that can be emptied once full seems like a better value to me. I would not recommend buying this vacuum.

> 3 dayI purchased this and then returned it. The noise level was so loud that my kids woke up from it.... The suction wasnt great and therefore lots of dirt stayed left over since the brush kept on pushing it away in places it already passed.. and it kept on running back to the base for charging. My house isnt so big.... So instead of having to pick everything up and putting the chairs on the table to make place for the vacuum cleaner, I just bought a regular hand held which takes a few minutes instead of a few hours and my house is cleaner!

> 3 dayIt does struggle a bit with deeper dust or larger pieces of dirt so I do still use my Dyson once every now and again, but I set the Roomba to clean everything downstairs every night and it keeps the pet hair perfectly under control (I have one medium coated dog, one short haired cat, and one medium to long haired cat whose hobby is shedding huge clumps of fur everywhere, as well as frequently watching my grandmothers cat, so, lots of fur). Ill likely get a second one for upstairs at some point.

> 3 dayI’m baffled how this robot can consistently get stuck somewhere in a 1500 sqf space after mapping it out, making constant trips to recharge and worse completely kill its battery again and again when going nowhere. Somehow my previous apparently stupid robot vacuum was fine for years. But two months in I want i want to throw this out despite the high price tag. In a given week of daily cleanings it usually manages to clean the apartment once. Every other time I must save it. It’s just silly.

> 3 dayI figured after the length of time this thing has been around most of the bugs would be worked out. Apparently not. I would not recommend if you have a lot of furniture or throw rugs. This may work well for large empty rooms but not much else. Constantly needs brushes cleaned (mostly long hair) and in the middle of certain rugs just detects a drop off and stops. Once you move it to new location near where it was it loses its ability to detect where it is and abandons the job. Cant finish 4 rooms without recharging first, even though I assume thats because of some throw rugs and bumping into things 100s of times. I can understand chairs and things that can move around and be a problem but walls and things like washers and dryers are pretty stationary. Oh well, gave it a try to see where the technology was and apparently they have a long way to go. Dont waste your money.
