> 3 dayIt just quit. The company sent a new battery but it did not fix the problem, now the year warranty is out. Going to have to use the extended warranty that I have.

> 3 dayThe Roomba i4 (4552) model is a great time saver. I give a 4 on battery life only because it has to recharge during the cleaning. However, since it works automatically, it is not an issue. My floor has a lot of obstacles which causes the Roomba to have navigation problems because it bumps into chair and table legs. If you have a lot of open space the machine will be very effective and get the job done quicker. This is a great machine that cleans well. Yes, it is loud when emptying the dirt. That is not a problem, though- it is automatic! I purchased it during an Amazon Prime Day sale and got a great deal of $399.00. If you have a floor with open spaces it will work very well and quickly. If you have lots of obstacles, it will take longer to complete the job and you may have to reset it. Overall, it is a good buy.

> 3 dayThis is not the model that maps the room so it runs a little haywire but we have it clean on schedule twice a week and I’d say it hits most places weekly. It handles pet hair better than expected but we have one rug, that because of the texture I’m guessing, it rolls some of the hair into little balls and never picks it up.

> 3 dayI bought this at Christmas 2021. It does it’s job eventually. It does not always go in rows as advertised. It tends to like certain areas more than others. Some places it goes back to multiple times, where other places in a room it goes only once. It does not go back to its base to empty or charge. I am disappointed with those features. The suction is good.

> 3 dayI have 5GH wifi and this product only runs on 2.4GH, so back it goes! I never saw that anywhere on the Amazon listing, on the box, in the instructions, only after the connection to the app failed four times did I notice that in the app, thats where it says it. 2 hours of my life I wont get back.

> 3 dayExpectations: robot silently keeps the house clean with a 45 day auto emptying bag. Reality: noise levels are uncomfortable on hardwood or carpet. Takes an hour to clean 400 square feet, then gets tangled in hair and requires manual service. It will not set up without wifi, I spent over an hour trying to use a hotspot, it would not go though activation, so a couple times I did run it manually by pushing the button. One thing I did not hear mentioned is the NOISE, that thing is whirring, sucking and bumping into objects. It’s not pleasant to be in the same apartment while it cleans, definitely not for a work from home arrangement. What prompted me to write this review is the fact that the first ever scheduled run after connecting to wifi simply failed. I come in and find the robot dead. Later I see a notification on my phone with a cleaning instructions. I ended up taking out both brushes and cutting the hair which is tangled at both bases. Previously I cut hair from the triangular spinner. So here goes my dream of low maintenance automatic cleaning. I thought it would keep cleaning for over a month before needing my attention .The hair (over 20 inches long) is not going away. So it will keep jamming every few runs. The speed is not great, our house is mostly empty hardwood with some rugs. The history says it cleaned 400 square feet in an hour. None of the jobs ever were completed, mostly because I got tired of the noise. I moved the base station a number of times, and each map is broken, looks like I need to do another reset after finding a permanent position. Overall, mediocre. I hope the motor would not burn out due to the hair situation

> 3 dayThis vacuum with the auto empty is nice. The gotcha that I would advise is make sure you have 2.4 ghz wifi. This will not work with new 5ghz It was a bear to get connected to wifi and the app will auto disconnect that requires me to restart my phone for it to work. It does a great job cleaning and the empty feature is also awesome. My son has a previous model roomba and same issues. I have a Samsung vacuum upstairs and had no connection issues. That is the most frustrating part of this. I open the app and sometimes it just works and I kick off the vacuum other times the only way to fix is to reboot my phone- I have Samsung Galaxy S20 ultra. But have found many others with same issue by googling. It took me 2 hrs to get the vacuum to connect during setup. I found the trick to finally be a factory reset on the vacuum that let it connect to.my wifi - I have both 5 and 2.4 with smart detect. I even broke those out created separate ones changed connection types it was a bear. And something surprising for how long they have been around - didnt face any connection issue setting my Samsung vacuum on same connections though

> 3 dayI dont know why I allowed myself to go so long without having a Roomba - seriously. The machine itself is the perfect size to go under beds, chairs, and couches but strong enough to capture even the tiniest granular of dirt. I have three cats and the Roomba (unintentionally) provides so much entertainment for them - although they dont engage with the vacuum, they enjoy watching it seamlessly maneuver around the apartment. The docking station is a game-changer and increases the automation and hands-off nature of the product. It cleans very well, however I dont like that I cannot manipulate the map drawn as I do have some areas that Id prefer the Roomba not to tread into. I have a moderately sized apartment and am not too bothered by this, but if you have a larger space it might be something to think about.

> 3 dayHaving a breed that sheds daily, this product has been a lifesaver. I no longer have to worry about vacuuming three times a day, knowing that the roomba will take care of it highly recommend, if you have pets.
