Giant cocktail umbrella. Exactly what I was looking for. A neighbor was using one of these during a hideous heat wave (yes, global warming IS REAL). I am UV allergic and when its 85 degrees sunscreen is a waste of time because I simply sweat it off. SO, hat, long sleeves and a parasol and I have done all I can do. These little parasols are darling, not the best quality (the wood is low quality and the fabric shows shopwear) but for less than $7 one cannot be too picky.

I ordered 4 red umbrellas for a photoshoot with my bridesmaids. I received 4 hot pink umbrellas. Aside from the color these were good umbrellas. New, came in plastic wrap and opened up and pretty. But pretty in pink, not red like I had ordered so I didnt use them :(

At ten dollars, these parasols are an excellent value. In addition to the black one, I also bought a red one. They held up well over a couple of days of use. The quality isnt top notch—there was some glue residue or something visible, and the latch that holds the parasol open looks like it wouldnt last forever—but it is good enough for short term use. It also looks like they are hand painted, which is fun. They provide a medium level of shade, so if you want 100% sun protection, I would keep looking.

I believe this product is advertised incorrectly. It is NOT opaque as described. It is quite sheer. Unfortunately, that means that this little umbrella LOOKS like a parasol, but it is a parasol only for decorative purposes. If that is your purpose, it is very pretty and well made. It is, however, very delicate. Unfortunately, it is NOT a parasol in the true sense. Parasols are meant to be used in the sun. The material in this umbrella is SHEER and it does not block the sun AT ALL. Zero. You can see through it. I am giving it two stars because it is pretty and if the material had been thicker I would have been happy. As it is, I have no use for it.

The umbrella was cute and goes well with the room decor, but i realize a black umbrella will go much better Im returning it to purchase a black one

Very pretty parasol. I ordered 4 to use for a dance. They have held up better than expected through rehearsal and performances this spring. I might note that they were used by adult dancers, not children. Not sure the would last if used by youngsters. I bought 4 thinking we might need replacements by showtime but that was not the case. Fortunate because the fourth one has still not arrived, with programs in two venues behind us and just one still coming up this week.

This umbrella was surprisingly very well made and sturdy! It is not made of paper, rather made of sturdy plastic so it holds well in light rain. We used it for a beach wedding and it was good for sun protection.

Perfect for when I like to sit in the front yard and read a book !

it is exactly what I wanted and expected. it was to replace one that broke. The package was wrapped good and arrived on time.
