I am pleased with my purchase. I will be using it as a prop so I did not need the highest quality item. The umbrella is hand painted, which makes each one unique. I like the bamboo handle. The unnecessary fabric at the top is strange but I plan to get fabric glue and make it look a little more fancy then just the random square piece of fabric hanging on to the top. Overall I would say this is an excellent value for the price.

Something light to carry for sun protection. Did as advertised.

It looks smaller and thinner than the picture showed, and the material looks cheap, I dont think it could be used as a functional umbrella, and even not a good choice for decoration.

Not put together very sturdily or with much care. Painting on silk is just swabbed on. Just ok. Would rather have gotten a higher quality at a higher price.

I believe this product is advertised incorrectly. It LOOKS like a parasol, but it is a parasol only for decorative purposes. If that is your purpose, it is very pretty and well made. It is, however, very delicate. Unfortunately, it is NOT a parasol in the true sense. Parasols are meant to be used in the sun. The material in this umbrella is SHEER and it does not block the sun AT ALL. Zero. You can see through it. I am giving it two stars because it is pretty and if the material had been thicker I would have been happy. As it is, I have no use for it.

I had bought this for decoration. However compared to my Rice paper parasol this is more of a piece to actually be used outdoors to block the sun. I also have a pink one that I bought at a festival. This is not to be used as an umbrella!! It will mildew and fall apart. (Like my pink one) If u just need protection from the sun this is a perfect item to carry outdoors without toting an umbrella around.

Okay for lightweight duty, photos of decorations. Pretty design.

I bought it for a costume accessory and it fulfills its purpose; its not an item that Im going to use every day or depend on. The bottom piece, at least on the one I received, is not attached to the stick (and its really sharp and splintery under it!) but I used wood glue on it and it seems to be okay now.

This parasol looks great, but if Im being picky, up close you can see yellowing around the edges from the glue. Also, be careful opening this parasol! When I first received it, I opened it up, but as I was pulling it over the catch that keeps it open, the shaft pulled out of the socket that connects it to the parasol! I dont think I pulled too hard, but I could be wrong about my super forearm strength. Luckily I had wood glue and was able to fix it, but even if it did not fall out of the socket that first time, I think it would have fallen out eventually. But after all is said and done, I still like it.
