> 3 dayIve got two Boos cutting boards; one huge one thats 3 thick and a new one thats 1 thick. The huge one developed cracks between the laminations so when I bought the new one, I bought this stuff, too. Although Ive used Boos Mystery Oil on the old one, it didnt seem to help--its basically mineral oil with antimicrobials added to it. Im hoping the Board Cream (mineral oil and beeswax) will fill in the gap in the large board and keep it from splitting further. Overall, the price is too high for what it is but if itll keep these outrageously expensive cutting boards from becoming firewood, Im good with it.

> 3 dayWe use this for our cutting board and our solid wood dining room table. It’s awesome! The oil is thin and perfect for daily cleaning/maintenance, while the thicker conditioner we use once a month to maintain the protective layer to ensure the wood remains healthy. Our cutting board and table look exactly the way they did the day we bought them! Love this product!

> 3 dayOnce a month, I oil and wax my John Boos Block, since its a really large cutting board, quite expensive, and its important to protect it and take care of it. The essential mystery oil goes on easily, penetrated the wood and wipes off nicely. Whatever oil theyre peddling seems to get the job done. The board cream (wax) was tough to work with. Its hard to squeeze out of the tube (and good luck getting it all out!), and goes on thick, with a lot of wasted product when you wipe it off and inevitably go through about a dozen paper towels before the surface isnt still noticeably waxy. I switched to Clarks cutting board wax with round applicator and I have a MUCH easier time applying a thin even coat with almost no wasted product. I highly recommend Clarks over John Boos for the board cream, but the John Boos cutting board oil is perfectly fine and inexpensive and should last quite some time.

> 3 dayMy sons made me a custom cutting board for all my heavy cutting. Like Turkey, tri tip, ham ect... When he seen his dad using it he said you need to oil and condition it so b it can last forever. I immediately ordered this set because I want it to last forever. I watched the video and did exactly as they suggested. I bought enough for a life time, this stuff is amazing.

> 3 dayThis product can take some really time to apply depending on what you’re applying it to but it works so incredibly well for chopping boards and kitchen utensils! I’m over the moon with it and so excited to start using it regularly because you get a lot of product for the price, it’s really good value!!!

> 3 dayBrings your board back to life! But don’t wait until it’s dull before using. Once a month is about right. Follow the instructions and your board will stay healthy. No weird smell, wipes right off. I let it sit overnight. Looks like new after each use. With how much these boards cost, this oil and conditioner are worth it!
