Great knife, VERY well made and VERY sharp out of the box, with that said, yes it can be sharper, but its sharp enough out of the box for most. The sheath is kydex and VERY nice. I ordered this version because of the sheath and was not disappointed. This will get lots of use!

This is a great knife that feels good to hold in the hand. It came razor sharp and seems very durable.

The knife was sharp right out of the box, feels great in my hand, and it is well balanced. The hard sheath is a bonus, highly recommend mainly because it can hold up to weathering better than the traditional leather sheath. Shortly after getting this one I bought a green handle one for my wife with the green hard sheath. These knives will be great for carrying on our person while hunting and hiking around in the great outdoors. Long live the quality and history of the American Made KA-BAR Knife.

Its a KA-BAR... and you get everything youd expect from that (one of the best knives you can own). I went with the polymer handle and I kind of wished I had chosen the leather one instead, but Im still beyond satisfied. The case it came with works quite well also. I assure you that this will not be the last KA-BAR I buy in my lifetime.

Great Knife. Sturdy and sharp. The sheath works great. I would recommend it to all hunters or general hardcore men. I mean the Marines used piratically the same thing... what else needs to be said?

Bought this for hiking and camping. Excellent tool and very well made. Packaging was perfect, so nothing was damaged when it arrived.
