NOT THE SAME AS THE KNIFE IN THE PICTURES!! There are slight differences all over this thing. Its either a knock-off or X-OUT from the factory. Does not feel like a $60 knife. Let alone the original $100+ price tag. It did come very sharp, but there are workmanship issues everywhere. Not as nice as I was expecting for sure. ( chips in the paint, different style knob on the handle, miss aligned serrated part, stamping of OLEAN NY is different, the stamps on both sides actually seem out of alignment as well, even the blade is slightly different as far as angles and whatnot ) It just isnt as beefy as it looks in the pictures. Its like they redesigned it to save a little steel. Heavy in the handle, lite in the blade. So its not balanced well. Also, out of all the things Ive ordered from amazon.com, this knife took the longest to get to me. So all those weeks of anticipation, for a real let down. The sheath is nice but is made in Taiwan. So theres that too. Dag nab it.

When it arrived the serrations were not sharp and rounded off. Thankfully Ka-bar was very helpful. If you have an issue go through them. I was able to switch mine out in the span of a week

I have the original. This is the same the handle is just more modern. Feels good in the hand. Good price. Now I have to go and Kil ah Bar!

High quality knife! I was so happy I got this one. My son has one as well. Very happy with it.

Bought it for the Kraton G handle. Should last a lot longer than the leather.

If you scroll down to information from manufacturer it clearly states that a leather sheath is included in this package. I received the knife and a plastic sheath. No leather sheath. I specifically went with this option for the leather.
