Likes: * the black is black (not a variation of black) * Comes off cleanly (as advertised) * easy to install - just pull off the tape * dense. I expected my door would compress it a bit, but that wasnt possible Dislikes: * The description says neoprene, and while this may technically be neoprene, it seemed more like what I would call a dense foam. Overall: Overall Im happy with this weather stripping. It installs easily, and after I pressed it in and realized it was too thick for my door, I was able to pull it off relatively cleanly - it left a bit of adhesive in one section, but that was it. The foam is dense. While I was able to cut it laterally to the right size (1/2 by 1/4), I was not able to take a razor to thin it out a bit.

Not much bad to say about this. Its quite easy and straightforward to install, and does quite a good job with insulation. The adhesive is quite sticky which was surprising for the price of these. Also convenient that it comes in multiple sizes. I got 1/4 x 1/8 to help weather strip a door to a BBQ deck. The only con I can think of is that it sort of was stuck to the bag on arrival. The sticky edge backing got stuck to the bag - not the most ideal bag to ship in but not a huge deal. Overall good value for some cheap weather stripping.

After a lengthy battle with a large gap between our double front doors, I wish I had tried this seal first. The tube and bulb types didnt work, and the adhesive often failed. I decided that a foam-based seal might do a better job. This one is made of what seems like a good quality closed foam. The adhesive backing is strong and sticky, making the application quick and easy. Ill revise this review if problems occur. However, Im optimistic it will hold up even through seasonal weather changes.

The foam is very insulating, looks strong enough to hold up to daily use, and is easy to cut with scissors or boxcutter. I lost about 12 inches of tape because I didnt clean the surface of the door frame well enough and after the section peeled off, it wouldnt stick to anything. It has already saved us some money on heating, so Im satisfied with the product and would probably buy more for future use.

I used this to seal up the door to my attic to keep the hot air out of my house. It stuck to the wood door really well after applying firm pressure. I have used similar products in the past, and while the foam holds up, the adhesive that the other stuff had didnt like the heat. So I will have to see how this does long term with the heat of the attic. If it ends up falling apart, I will update my review.

I actually got this weather stripping to serve a crafting need, however I wanted to test it for its effectiveness for its designed purpose. The quality was evident upon opening the package. The foam is dense and sturdy, the sticking power is enormous. I adhered it to the edges of my door and removed it a few days later. I had to use a paint scraper to lift it from its position. I then reapplied it to another spot, not once but 3 times and each time it still adhered strongly. I would definitely recommend this product.

I used this around an interior basement door leading into my office, to make it more airtight (and bug-tight). We have those annoying gnats in the spring and summer that gather on garbage in the basement, and they end up migrating into my office. I wanted something to seal the door, to prevent any extra openings. This weather stripping worked great, along with a separate door sweep I installed on the bottom of the door. It wont be exposed to weather, so I cant comment on the longevity and/or deterioration, but for my use, its what I needed.

This is a quality made product. The backing is very sticky and holds well. Also the sponge material seems to be well made. It is firm but still pliable, almost like a neoprene material. This will help with sealing my windows in my garage. Be aware of its thickness. It will compress some but since its fairly firm it wont have a huge amount of give. And its white to help blend in. I hope this was helpful!

I have the white foam tape, but the black one is smaller and I will need to apply the thicker sealer over the thinner. There is a draft coming from my double paned windows and the white tape did not seal it completely.
