> 3 dayThis is very sticky, make sure you place it where you want it the first time. It does an excellent job at sealing gaps in between doors.

18-11-2024Easy to install, easy to cut, and no issue with it falling off randomly. Its been very helpful when replacing the original weather guard strips or when you need some additional cushion so the door doesnt slam loudly onto the door frame. Definitely test before you install with the adhesive, otherwise you might find its slightly too thick and the door wont fully close, which did happen for 2 of my doors.

> 3 dayThe KAPOOSY Self Adhesive Foam Tape I ordered arrived yesterday. Its easy to apply and works great sealing gaps on my lockable truck bed toolbox. Made of high-quality materials this tape is very durable. Its strong adhesive sticks incredibly well to my toolbox, creating a weatherproof seal around the lid. Id recommend this weatherproofing tape to anyone looking for a way to seal up gaps around their home, in their workshop or anywhere else they might have a need for it..

> 3 dayThis is a good weather seal for many different purposes. The sticky tape is good quality and sticks very well to a good clean surface. I’m sure it will keep water out as well as insulate from air temperature. You get a very good amount for the price. Recommended

> 3 dayOverall, this foam tape has been performing very well for me. The foam appears to be of good quality. Theres enough deflection to work well to block air intrusion but not so thick that it interferes with door operation (Im using this for a garage door, but it can be used for a lot of different purposes). The adhesive grips well provided, of course, that the surface is 100% clean. A quick pass with some rubbing alcohol after cleaning works great to remove any lingering issues that could interfere with glue adhesion. There are two minor issues. The backing tape can be a bit fussy to get started when youre peeling it off. Fingernails help (alas, mine are too short). Second, theres a strong plastic smell to the roll, which I think is mostly due to the adhesive. The smell dissipates once the tape has been applied, so its not a long-term issue. 4.5 stars.

> 3 dayThe KAPOOSY foam rubber seal tape is as adhesive as fly paper or a humid Southern night! I thought Id never be able to peel off the paper backing because its so sticky. I reread the product description as I was preparing to write this review and noticed that KAPOOSY recommends warming the tape with a blow dryer to make it easier to remove the paper backing. That is something I would strongly recommend. Ive used similar tape to improve the energy efficiency of doors and windows on numerous occasions. While this is similar to insulating tape found in big box stores, I believe it is more sticky. This tape also appears to have an additional grid, which may increase its strength.

> 3 dayThe adhesive on this is great. I put it on the top and bottom of my AC window insert. Then pushed the window down firmly on it. Great seal. I like this product a lot.

Greater than one week- I used this to seal a door that had a large gap at the top of the jamb. The tape was easy to apply with adhesive that was strong enough to stay in place, but could also be removed and repositioned. - The foam was nice and dense and gave a tight seal. - I also tried it on a smaller gap along the side of the door to see if it could compress enough to work, but it was too thick, so you really need to match the thickness of the tape to the size of the gap. Update: - I used the 1/8 inch foam and that worked for the smaller gap on the side.
