I can think of hundreds of uses for these strips. I had two in mind and it worked great for both. I replaced the cooling unit on my RV refrigerator and the new compressor was vibrating against the inside of the access panel. A little strip between the panel and the compressors bracket quieted it right down. We also have some large tupperware-type containers that we store decorations in and keep in our garage. They arent in the weather, but they are in the Houston humidity where mildew and dust and pests could get in under the lids. A quick layer of this stuff along the edge of each tub where the lid mates sealed them right up.

Works well even in the corners. Easy to use.

I liked that this weather stripping has clean edges and is easy to use. It will be great for touching up our doors before winter comes next season. The product is exactly as advertised and is high quality.

We have so much cold air that leaks through our house. This is going to work perfectly to seal some of that air out so we aren’t losing heat.

This is really sticky on the sticky side and I put it all around my antique cars trunk to keep the water out and it is doing a great job at that. Very nice seal and seems to be staying put and holding up to the rain and elements. Would do a great job on doors and windows also.

This ½” wide weather stripping came in 2 rolls packaged with wax sheets in between the rolls which is smart since they tend to stick together. It sticks properly and measured to be the proper width. It can be cut easily and used for many applications, so for these reasons I give it 5 out of 5 on Oilboy’s Slainte scale.

This is an Excellent Product. Can’t wait to install them around my French Doors. Will update if I encounter any issues. But so far looks great and the rolls arrived quickly and in good shape. There is a smell to them put they came in a ziplock type bag so as soon as I put them out in my garage for a couple of days the smell should be totally gone. I would highly recommend this item and this brand.

I ordered the “KAPOOSY Foam Seal Strip 1/2 Inch W X 1/4 Inch T Gasket Seal Foam Tape, Door Draught Excluder for Door Window Furniture, Total Length 26 Feet (13ft x 2 Rolls)” to review and to follow instructions when installing a special shed door awning. The instructions called for closed cell backer rod when installing on non-flush surfaces. My shed has a “textured” wall so I found this foam seal strip instead because it too is closed cell foam. It fills all of the larger voids instead of using 10 tubes of silicone or caulk. It worked perfectly for my purpose and the adhesion aspect may not apply to my use because it held up long enough for me to compress it between two objects permanently. It’s a solid product that deserves a solid 4-star rating. Explaining my rating system: 5 – Exceeded Expectations – Highly recommend product. 4 – Average to Above Average – At least what you would expect based on the Product Page. Maybe a bit more. A solid product. Recommended. 3 – Average to Below Average – A bit less than what you would expect based on the Product Page. Left feeling somewhat disappointed. Maybe you’ll feel differently but I cannot fully stand behind the product. 2 – Below Average – Incorrect, missing, or misleading information on the product page. Low quality or questionable safety issues. Not recommended. 1 – Junk – A complete misrepresentation of the product advertised, severe quality or safety issues. Avoid at all costs.
