> 3 dayI have a door that Ive had to replace the weather stripping on more than once. This weather stripping is much thicker (more dense) than anything Ive used on it before. By this I mean it compresses much less than the other brands Ive tried when you press something against it. This seems much sturdier and will hopefully last a longer time. The weather strip was easy to apply and the adhesive seems strong and like it will stay in place for a long time.

> 3 dayThe foam is dense compared with other weather stripping that I’ve used. It feels quite solid, not mushy as many other foam strips, and has a strong adhesive. Retains it original shape. Has a uniform color and fine texture. I’m using this for a pop-up camper door and so far, so good!

Greater than one weekI used this around an interior basement door leading into my office, to make it more airtight (and bug-tight). We have those annoying gnats in the spring and summer that gather on garbage in the basement, and they end up migrating into my office. I wanted something to seal the door, to prevent any extra openings. This weather stripping worked great, along with a separate door sweep I installed on the bottom of the door. It wont be exposed to weather, so I cant comment on the longevity and/or deterioration, but for my use, its what I needed.

> 3 dayThe foam is good, the only issue I had was removing the backing from the adhesive. If your thumbs are fat like mine, you may have issues peeling it off neatly, a few times I ripped the adhesive off too. However, once I do get a clean peel, it works well. I used this to better insulate my front door, and creat a vacuum box; it adheres well.

> 3 dayThis is a review of a free product. These rubber seal tape are excellent for small gabs for the door frame and windows.

17-04-2025This adhesive tape has good width and length for multiple uses. I used on my doors and it really worked great so far. The adhesion holding is good so far and after almost a month it is still sticking to its place. The good thing about this tape is you can cut them accordingly to your project.

> 3 dayWe found this Kapoosy 3/8 inch door weather stripping to be the right thing to seal a door that had a slight gap along the top and right edges. It took only seconds to peel the backing and attach the weather stripping foam on the inside edge of the doorway. The difference was perfect, and it took no time at all. Now we have a snug fir with no light gaps. We have extra product, since we used less than we purchased, so well keep it around for later.

> 3 dayOverall, this foam tape has been performing very well for me. The foam appears to be of good quality. Theres enough deflection to work well to block air intrusion but not so thick that it interferes with door operation (Im using this for a garage door, but it can be used for a lot of different purposes). The adhesive grips well provided, of course, that the surface is 100% clean. A quick pass with some rubbing alcohol after cleaning works great to remove any lingering issues that could interfere with glue adhesion. There are two minor issues. The backing tape can be a bit fussy to get started when youre peeling it off. Fingernails help (alas, mine are too short). Second, theres a strong plastic smell to the roll, which I think is mostly due to the adhesive. The smell dissipates once the tape has been applied, so its not a long-term issue. 4.5 stars.

> 3 dayI use these to seal several leaky basement windows. Worked well. Easy to install - just peel and stick. Adhesive on the foam tape held tightly.
