I got this for a project my husband is working on. He likes it so its a good product. It arrived in good condition and was packaged well.

This foam seal tape did exactly what it was meant to do. It was easy to install and the tape was easy to remove. the foam is firm, so it should last when applied properly. The draft is gone. So far so good!

TL;DR; 1/2” x 3/4” 13’ option; good adhesive; firm foam My shop door is a sliding affair in two parts with a weather seal between the two doors. My old weather seal which is 10+ year old needs refurb so I tried this. I might have chosen a slightly smaller dimension for my application but this is working fine. The foam feels pretty resiliant but a little on the stiff side for my application. I could have gone to 1/2x1/2 or perhaps somewhat thinner. That said the two doors no longer show a light gap which is the whole objective. I probably need another roll to complete the job. I found this pretty easy to apply so I have no complaints. No idea how long this stuff will last but if I have any update I’ll try to provide it. 5 Stars. A great option.

The KAPOOSY foam rubber seal tape is as adhesive as fly paper or a humid Southern night! I thought Id never be able to peel off the paper backing because its so sticky. I reread the product description as I was preparing to write this review and noticed that KAPOOSY recommends warming the tape with a blow dryer to make it easier to remove the paper backing. That is something I would strongly recommend. Ive used similar tape to improve the energy efficiency of doors and windows on numerous occasions. While this is similar to insulating tape found in big box stores, I believe it is more sticky. This tape also appears to have an additional grid, which may increase its strength.

A review of adhesive foam sealant tape: -This tape is exquisite and fancy -It has the most luxurious peel-off adhesive on the back, and the adhesive smells like rich mahogany. -The foam quality is soft like the fur of kittens & puppies. -You get a lot for a good price and it sticks to stuff and makes a seal.

I ordered the “KAPOOSY Foam Seal Strip 1/2 Inch W X 1/4 Inch T Gasket Seal Foam Tape, Door Draught Excluder for Door Window Furniture, Total Length 26 Feet (13ft x 2 Rolls)” to review and to follow instructions when installing a special shed door awning. The instructions called for closed cell backer rod when installing on non-flush surfaces. My shed has a “textured” wall so I found this foam seal strip instead because it too is closed cell foam. It fills all of the larger voids instead of using 10 tubes of silicone or caulk. It worked perfectly for my purpose and the adhesion aspect may not apply to my use because it held up long enough for me to compress it between two objects permanently. It’s a solid product that deserves a solid 4-star rating. Explaining my rating system: 5 – Exceeded Expectations – Highly recommend product. 4 – Average to Above Average – At least what you would expect based on the Product Page. Maybe a bit more. A solid product. Recommended. 3 – Average to Below Average – A bit less than what you would expect based on the Product Page. Left feeling somewhat disappointed. Maybe you’ll feel differently but I cannot fully stand behind the product. 2 – Below Average – Incorrect, missing, or misleading information on the product page. Low quality or questionable safety issues. Not recommended. 1 – Junk – A complete misrepresentation of the product advertised, severe quality or safety issues. Avoid at all costs.

I liked that this weather stripping has clean edges and is easy to use. It will be great for touching up our doors before winter comes next season. The product is exactly as advertised and is high quality.

Product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This product contains 50 ft of 1/4 inch weather stripping foam that can be used for insulating spots. I used some of mine on an area on my garage door that did not fit well and allowed cold air into the garage. I put a several foot section of this foam on that area and it greatly reduced the amount of cold air coming in the garage. This foam comes in 2 25 ft pieces that have a sticky part on one side that is covered by a thin piece of plastic that you simply remove to expose the sticky surface. I also used on one of outside access doors that needed help along the bottom of the door to provide better insulation. The best part I still have a full roll and most of another roll for times of need in the future. Overall a great product that is very reasonable in price. I would recommend.

The KAPOOSY Foam Rubber Seal Tape is a great way to seal up any gaps around your home that might be letting in drafts. Its made of a durable foam rubber thats easy to cut to size and apply, and it comes in a variety of widths and thicknesses to fit any need. I used this tape to seal up the gaps to my laundry room door, and it made a big difference in the amount of cold air coming into my home and greatly reduced the washing machine noise. Very easy to install, I wiped down the Door trim with cleaner and then installed the strip one side at a time. I have had it in for over 2 weeks now and see no issues with adhesion or it coming off. The tape is also very affordable, so its a great way to save money on your energy bills. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to seal up their home and save money.

Whats great about the Kapoosy foam tape is that they offer so many sizes and colors for various applications. I needed this for an older patio screen door where over the years a gap has formed between the old weather stripping on the screen and the glass door frame allowing annoying critters with wings to sneak past the screen and into my home. I used this to close that gap. I did thoroughly clean along the door frame where I planned to stick the strip first. It applied very easily. No fuss at all. I like the black color since it is going to exposed to the elements. I didnt want to get white which I would get dirty over time. Comes with 2 roles. Note the description and packaging states 6.5 feet which is 78 inches which is shorter than a standard door/door frame. The good news is that its actually 79 inches long and that IS the perfect length for where Im going to be putting this weather stripping on exterior doors, including the patio door. If you have a larger door frame (US standard is 80 inches, but you generally want a bit of clearance), make sure you measure where you want to use this to ensure its long enough, otherwise youll have to use a piece of the 2nd roll which would then limit the 2nd rolls application elsewhere. Just something to keep in mind. This size worked perfectly for me though, with no cutting of any excess required and I have a spare to boot for my front exterior door (perfect length for that one too). Great price for a nice, dense quality foam strip.
