> 3 dayIve got 22 large windows in my house and I live in the hot / sunny desert of Arizona. So Ive put a few different weather stripping options to the test. Its a pet peeve when window insulation is too spongy or flimsy (Ive had some strike out in this regard). I was specifically looking for a rubber foam of moderate density: enough to conform while also providing an excellent barrier. This foam rubber is just the density I had hoped for. Its a cushioned support but not too spongey. As a personal preference, I prefer white in our Arizona climate only because it absorbs less heat.

> 3 dayId been looking for a way to insulate my front door as its older and has some areas where the wind blows right through the doorjamb, but everything Id tried up to this point had been ugly or difficult. This is easy to cut, fairly easy to pull the backing off of, and easy to apply. Took me about 15mins to completely seal my door. The backing is very sticky and I dont think that the foam will come off any time soon. I like this thickness too because I was able to stack these to block up bigger holes near the bottom of the door. The door now squeaks upon open and is a little harder to open and shut, but thats because it is now airtight! Finally.

> 3 dayI used this to replace the weatherstripping around my two window air conditioners and it worked a treat, very easy installation. The grooves made it so much easier to make certain the units were sealed properly!

> 3 dayI used this to seal around the windshield of my RZR. It works great and keeps the cold air out when out plowing snow. Super easy to apply and the adhesive tape is very strong.

> 3 dayNote: This review is for both the 1/4W x 1/8T weather-stripping and the 1/2W x 1/4T weather-stripping. Just finished using this weather-stripping to seal the double doors at the entry of my house. Fairly dense material but not too dense. Its not the airy stuff that is too squishy and doesnt seal very well. The 1/8 thickness was perfect for sealing the outer edges of the doors. For me, 1 package of the 1/4W x 1/8T material was plenty to do my entry door which measures 60” wide and 80” tall (each door is 30” wide). There is also a section between the two doors that requires weather-stripping. However, I needed 1/2 wide and 1/4 thick weather-stripping for this seal. I used the same supplier for this material and it has the same properties as the 1/8T. Since I only needed one 80 length of the 1/2W x 1/4T weather-stripping to make the seal between the doors, one package was way more than enough. I didnt have any problems with adhesion - both products stayed put. Before sealing the door with these products, I could literally feel the wind blowing between the doors and I could see light around the edges. All fixed now!

> 3 dayThis is a quality made product. The backing is very sticky and holds well. Also the sponge material seems to be well made. It is firm but still pliable, almost like a neoprene material. This will help with sealing my windows in my garage. Be aware of its thickness. It will compress some but since its fairly firm it wont have a huge amount of give. And its white to help blend in. I hope this was helpful!

> 3 dayThis is a good thick weather striping. For my use, it is too thick, but as far as the stripping itself, it sticks very well and will restock if needing to reposition. The foam is very durable, and I tried to cut it thinner to accommodate my door space, but it was pretty much impossible. If one has a large gap they need to fill, then this one will do the job. Very good product and value.

13-04-2025Used this to seal some gaps around the hard tonneau cover on my truck. The adhesive holds well and the foam springs back to shape when the cover is opened. That ensure it is not compressed so it fills the entire gap nicely when the cover is closed.

Greater than one weekJust a note: the lising photo seems to show two strips side by side but it is really one piece. Works fine.
