> 3 dayOverall this is an excellent product — six separately controlled outlets, with individual energy monitoring, for about $10 per outlet. One small downside is the wall-mounting process. The plastic back of the plug strip is moulded with keyhole cutouts for mounting screws, except that at the shoulder where the circular hole meets the straight slot of the keyhole, there is a small plastic post that prevents the screw head from sliding into the slot. You’ll have to use a Dremel tool or similar with a tiny circular blade to trim away the small plastic post. Another oddity is that the overload reset button is on the back. So if you have it wall-mounted and the overload does trip, you’ll have to remove it from the wall to reset it. Finally, my main use for these smart plug strips is for energy monitoring, not remote control. In the iPhone app, the screen showing power consumption for an outlet just shows a static instantaneous reading. It would be better if it updated live. It would be even better if the app let you view the live power consumption for all six outlets at the same time on a single screen. Fortunately for me I use these Kasa HS300 smart power strips in conjunction with a Sense whole-house energy monitor, and the Sense iPhone app does let you see the power consumption of all monitored outlets in a single view, with continuous live updating. Perhaps the TP-Link engineers thought that polling the smart power strip once per second to get live data might create too much Wi-Fi traffic, but if my Wi-Fi network can stream 4K HDR Netflix video without any problems, I think that it can probably handle one request/response per second to the smart power strip.

> 3 daySeamlessly connected to wifi. I use them to control multiple aquariums and their hardware. I have purchased 3 and would most definitely buy them again. Works with Alexa flawlessly.

> 3 dayI purchased on November 8 from Amazon Warehouse in like new condition. Just received today, opened the box and to my surprise the authentic item has been replaced with a knock-off (see image). Amazon customer service was top-notch, as always; Ive been an Amazon customer since 2003 and a Prime member since the program launched so fortunately I have a long track record of integrity. However, this still upsets me because even if Amazon made it right, Im still part of the chain of this scam as the unlucky person who happened to buy a TP-Link Kasa power outlet and receive the fake product. Amazon customer service told me to donate the fake one, but I threw it out. I would never donate a knock-off product with questionable safety inspection; what if it burns down someones house?! As for the ACTUAL TP-Link Kasa - I love it. I own two, both purchased new from Amazon within the last year. They take a minute to set up, but I love that I can control each outlet from the unit or from the TP-Link app and that it has USB ports as well. I use these for my aquariums, so my CO2 and lights can be controlled on different on/off schedules. Bonus: you can monitor energy use! I cant vouch for how accurate it is, but it would be helpful to calculate operating expenses if I wanted to turn my hobby into a side business. Note: the 3-outlet version of the Kasa power strip doesnt allow you to monitor energy use in the full extent that this one does. All in all, I still want/need my third power strip, but I wouldnt chance buying it from the Warehouse again. Its unclear to me why Amazon doesnt have quality control of their Warehouse items (ESPECIALLY electronics!) I would just purchase it new. At the time I bought mine, there were 16 available in the same condition. Im not sure if all of those were scam items or just mine. I just want to warn others because this was a huge disappointment.

Greater than one weekGot this for my home office after switching to working from home. Love how I can have all my stuff (lamp, printer, monitor, standing desk, etc) in one strip but have separate commands for each outlet. It took minutes to set up and has worked for the last month or two with no issues. --------Update (now 3 months with it)-------- Ive read some of the reviews on here complain about numerous issues. I just want to share my experience more fully. Now three months in, Ive yet to have to Fix anything. Through power outages, network modem swaps and restarts, this thing has always worked. Ive only been into the Kasa app once to set it up and once to name one of the plugs I hadnt dedicated to anything yet, otherwise Alexa has control of turning things. I have had absolutely ZERO issues. Im not sure if all the negative reviews are user error or folks relying on the Kasa app too much, but if you have even the most basic understanding of setting up IOT devices, this should work fine for you.

> 3 dayThe product works as expected. I connected it with Google Assistant and I am quite please. Although, as an Apple user, I notice there isnt Apple Homekit Integration. That is not surprising since that feature is pretty underdeveloped and lacking with partners. The application is easy and intuitive. I set it up quite easily. Mostly I use it for my light, computer screens, aroma diffuser and heater. Probably will replace it with a fan in the winter. All things I want to automate around my desk. Cannot do much. Just Screen off, Lights On (doesnt actually turn on because my desk lamps require a press for first use), Lights Off (thats nice when I am tired.) and heater On/Off. This can be a fan in the summer. Thoughts on Application/Smart Devices: It seems they want to add feature to the app but havent quite gotten to it. I dont know if they ever will. In my humble opinion, I am a bit worried for the future if the apple will be maintained. For now, support seems great but down the line, you have to remember this is an appliance with a long product life. Unlike physical products, application have a short life. Although it is a worry, that is a risk you take with all smart devices.
