This my second of these to own. I have had it about a year. One of the things I love is the ability to monitor energy usage of the devices plugged. One monitors my Television, Satellite TV and a few small electronics. I have the other one on several battery chargers for my regular batteries and the batteries for my power tools. I have each plug socket on a schedule to only come on during the night when power costs are lower and only to run for a small amount of time per day. My batteries are always charged and I use less power to keep them fresh. The app is also really well designed. You can turn devices on or off manually from the app or look at the power consumption for the day, week, or month. It has never failed to stay connected to my wifi or to respond immediately to the app. I dont use home voice controls so I dont know about that.

So far its been great. Does exactly what is supposed to and setup was simple. I love how you can control each outlet and it has power monitoring. Wish the app was better for routines/skills but it does exactly what I need it to so oh well. I can control it through Alexa and so far no weirdness there. I havent tried the USB ports but Im glad they are there. The cord is a good length and I already had some kasa products so I was used to the features. The app is really simple though. That is both a good thing, for newbies and a not so great thing for power-users. Im already looking at other kasa products so Id definitely recommend this to others.

I wanted something that works with smart life. Not that I have anything particular against Kasa, and the only reason I even got THIS one was because I still have a few smart plugs that use the Kasa app. I just got rid of all the proprietary devices that needed their own app since it was such a pain to have half a dozen different programs. Im at the point now where if something isnt controllable via the Smart Life app, I wont buy it. Of course, then came the need for a new 6 plug controllable strip behind a stand where my 120 floor rising projector screen sits, to control my new screen, the new UST projector, a couple subwoofers, etc... This one arrived quick enough, and worked out of the box. Im not a fan of having to connect to the programs wireless to get it seen by the app, but at least it works consistently. I prefer apps that find their devices without going through that step. Each switch came up as its own addressable device, and the integration with Alexa was fine as I already had it set up for the existing Kasa plugs I still use that I havent replaced yet. No issues with the voice control now. Well constructed, solid, no noise of anything rattling around inside like some of the cheaper ones have. I just wish it wasnt quite so pricey, but you get what you pay for and I wanted something that I could trust would work for more than a week or two. My Kasa devices have proven to be very reliable so far so I expect no less from this.

I mainly purchased this because of how many socket it has and it has watt usage tracking for every socket. So the app will tell you how many watt each socket is pulling. Only downside is that the USB port doesnt provide and wattage and the ability to turn the socket off/on. It works great with Google/Alexa as well. One thing very important to me is the accuracy of the wattage it provides and it seems to be in line with my wattage meter so accuracy is not a problem. Overall really good product, would be better if I can control the the USB port and provides usage.

I have several of the TP-Link Kasa Smart Plugs and Bulbs in my home, but this was my first power strip. I use it in my kitchen. The Echo is plugged into the USB (which is always on), and my coffeemaker, espresso machine, tea kettle, LED lamp, and SONOS speaker pair are plugged into the six outlets (you can pair outlets in the Kasa app). So. Let me tell you about this thing. Are you like me and forget to turn off your coffeemaker? Well, you can set a Smart Timer to turn off the coffeemaker after an hour! And I know you might be thinking, my machine already has a timer but the thing about that is this: every single device in your home that has an Instant On feature, a display, a clock, or any sort of remote operating capability, is using power all the time. How can you prevent that? Plug it into one of these. My electrical consumption has steadily dropped since I started using these. Obviously, you have to set the timers up to turn stuff off, but if you do, it will save power, and in the long run, money. The build quality is very nice, although I wouldnt go throwing the thing around, obviously. Also, you can monitor each devices power consumption and on time through the Kasa app (as well as through the Alexa app). Speaking of Alexa, if you have one, the devices are detected immediately and work seamlessly. I cant comment on any other personal assistant, because I only have two Echo dots, but they work very well. You wont be disappointed if you get this. The three plug model is also great if you dont need six outlets. I have both.

This is a sturdy solid device and because you don’t have to plug in those large Wi-Fi plugs you can actually use all of the outlets! I have tried many different smart plugs but Kasa has been the easiest set up and become the most dependable brand of smart plug I’ve used over the years! This device also monitors the energy from each plug…awesome! I highly recommend this brand for any smart plug you need!

This product made doing anything on my reef tank a breeze. If I’m working on the tank I can simply tell Alexa to turn things off so I don’t have to use my wet hands to flip switches or grab plugs. I have it set up to feed my fish everyday at 12pm and turn my skimmer off when I dose. I even set it up in Alexa where it notifies my if my return pump goes off and is never off for more than 10 minutes. A game changer for reef tanks on a budget

This is a great, well-made product. Its very easy to setup using the Kasa phone app. The ability to name each plug and attach a photo is a nice touch. But one of the nicest features is the individual power-usage monitoring on each of the 6 outlets. You can easily look at the real-time power usage for each 0lug as well as its daily and monthly usage. 4 stars only because it would be great if it had a power-cycle feature for a plug (useful for when you need to reset power on the wireless router plugged into the device that the device uses to attach to the internet - if you power off the router, there will be no way to power it back on since connectivity is lost). One sort of clumsy work-around is to set a schedule to turn it off for a minute and then back on the next minute.

I have 2 HS300s that I bought about a month ago. I like the build quality, the ease of setup, and Alexa integration. However, I am having problems with each plug’s energy consumption reporting. For example, I have 2 27 inch LED monitors plugged into 1 of my HS300s. One plug is currently reporting Current Power of 4027 Watts while the other monitor is reporting Current Power of 6504 Watts (see picture). I would expect each monitor to be using less than 30 Watts. Ive tested this on other devices as well. It seems that the HS300 is reporting 100 times the wattage that it should be. I then spent an hour with tech support before they confirmed that there was a bug, that there was a patch available to fix the bug, and provided me with a private link to the patch which I did not install. Im curious if anybody else has had this issue. My hardware Version is 2.8. 10/30/21: I changed from 3 stars to 2 stars since Kasa still hasnt publicly posted their firmware fix. 10/30/21: Firmware fix is posted. Broken firmware is 1.0.3. Firmware fix is 1.0.11. Seems to be working. Changing from 2 stars to 4 stars
