Greater than one weekKristine Mae Butalon in Customer Service is the best! I had trouble adding a device to my Kasa app and she was very helpful. In the end we were able to successfully add my hs300 smart strip to my existing app. Very happy with the quality of the product as well the customer service provided by TP-link support.

Greater than one weekI really like this power strip. The power monitoring capability is excellent. And it is a real bonus that it works with the Sense home energy monitor. The only negative is that it does not work with the Tuya app which is what I use for most of my smart devices. However, it there is a Homebridge plug-in that works perfectly so I just control this power strip with Apple Homekit through the Homebridge software (running on raspberry pi). Overall, it is just an excellent power strip. It is well made, works flawlessly, will return to the same on off state for each plug if power is lost... it just is exactly what I wanted. I use one in my office and another to control the home entertainment center. Between the two of these applications I easily save over 60 Watts of vampire load. It is also nice that I can just turn on the equipment I need in either application. I highly recommend this product. It is a little expensive, but seems to go on sale frequently. When compared to individual plugs the cost is actually quite fair. And I would say the quality is above average (and better than most individual smart plugs you might buy).

> 3 dayI ordered this again for another part of my home because the first one is awesome. Upon receiving this one today, I noticed it sounds a little cheaper than the first one and it looks different as well. They both say theyre HS300s but theyre clearly different models, but are similar in the way of the same amount of plugs, the wifi/alexa integration, etc. This new one actually looks like the picture, so the first one may be a different model. The new one has a flip switch thats a little sunken into the frame and has 3 LEDs Sys, Grounded and Protected. The first one has a circle for a power button and 2 LEDs. They both have 3 USB ports and 6 power ports. This second one, I appear to not be able to rename the ports in Kasa as I was for my first one. Hopefully this one works as well as the first one I bought.

Greater than one weekIf you are not able to setup or trouble shoot yourself, consider calling KASA support. Wow wow and wow! Person was so patient with me. I had tried to fix the problem for hours. The person’s knowledge and expertise made it step by step easy and successful for me. THANK YOU!

> 3 dayThe only thing that would make it better would be a way to have the Kasa app tell me all my energy usage on one page rather than making me tap on each plug. The app should tell me about the power usage of every monitored device on one report or its not useful. Otherwise it seems reliable enough. I use separate schedules with some of the outlets and that was easy to set up. Google Home found the new outlets and lets me control them without needing to open the Kasa app once I finished setting them up.

> 3 dayI started looking at way to understand and control my energy usage after regular $300+ dollar electric bills. I started with the Sense Energy monitor (which I highly recommend). The Sense featured an integration with this Kasa HS300 power strip and the ability to see what each individual outlet is consuming in real time. Once you setup and integrate the Sense and Kasa HS300 you can monitor and understand how much power a device is using and the associated cost (based on your cost of electricity that you configure in the Sense app) over time - This was a key capability for me. The Kasa HS300 itself is very well built and I would highly recommend it as a standalone (without Sense). The HS300 itself does give you access to usage information directly in the Kasa app as well as the ability to turn off individual outlets when the devices connected are not serving a purpose. Lastly, you get six outlets that are individually controlled and offer a view into each discrete outlet from a power usage perspective - this is a significantly more cost effective approach from my use case.

> 3 dayLove that the sockets are individually controlled. Great for bedside to control lamps, humidifiers, fans, heated blankets etc and with Alexa to make sure they are on when I head to bed and more importantly all off when I leave for the day. Beats the 1 outlet switches I was using.

> 3 dayI can say that this is one item that was as easy to get working as anything else I have installed. The instructions were better than 98% of devices I use plug it in and it works - period. While it can be used then, Alexa will use the outlet number for reference. However, I prefer to assign a name to the device the outlet is controlling and that is a simple function also. I intend to buy several more of these for use in my house where there are a number of plugins and having them Alexa controlled would be a help.

> 3 dayI was skeptical but this is a well designed and easy to use product. I have a bearded dragon and her enclosure has a complex series of lights and heaters -each plug can be programmed separately and with complex settings to allow for the mimic of natural light. I highly recommend.

> 3 dayI use these for my aquariums instead of using individual smart plugs. They work great, integrate well, and I havent run into any issues so far!
