> 24 hourI only use KASA smart plugs because they are reliable, affordable, and setup is very easy. Our power company went to time-of-day metering so I installed this power strip where I have two small freezers and a water cooler dispenser. The power strip turns them off between 3 pm and 7 pm on weekdays to keep them from running during peak hours. I also installed KASA smart plugs on my window air conditioners to shut them off during peak hours. This has resulted in me saving money and the plugs paying for themselves.

> 24 hourIll preface by saying I already have two casa smart plugs and an Amazon plug. I also got this on sale and only paid $24. So Im familiar with smart devices and it was relatively inexpensive. I love being able to control multiple devices with this one strip. I use it for my phone, string lights, and a fan in my room. Its great because I can set timers on everything, so this way Im not wasting energy or killing my battery on my cell. The app makes it pretty easy to set up too. I also like that it has a surge protector so its keeping my devices safe while I use it. I dont like to give things five stars unless it was truly perfect, but this came INCREDIBLY close to my standards for five stars.

> 24 hourAlthough these Kasa products seem to work well with the Kasa app, I have not been able to control any of the power strips or mini plugs remotely. Ive tried working with TP-Link support but nothing so far has worked and Im not going to take down my firewall as suggested. As far as I can tell, you will need to setup all the schedules while you are on line with your local wifi and hope you dont need to change anything while away. I was able to integrate with Google Home and Alexa but there are no scheduling capabilities via those solutions.

> 24 hourI wanna give this 5 stars because its a cool gadget but sometimes it glitches in the app and it messes with my appliances. Also Alexa doesnt recognize the device well.

> 24 hourI love the Kasa products and the ability to have control when Im away and to also set schedules for the lighting. I take away one star because every now and then the products seem to lose contact with the app. At first, I thought it was a wifi issue but when I unplug and replug the outlet or bulb, it re-establishes contact with the app immediately. I also tried refreshing from within the app but that doesnt help. I put some of these plugs and bulbs in hard to reach places for the ease of use but if I have to reach the plug then there is no point. It doesnt bother me too much since it doesnt happen that often but it does happen.

> 24 hourIt might have been having the USB plugs on, but it didnt restart after a power outage last month. But. I really liked the thing, so I got another one. This is very useful with a nanny cam. I can see the fan/temp/lights in the greenhouse, and control them without running all the way out there. Perfect! You can also turn the lights off on the unit, if you want complete darkness as well. The physical buttons are nice when youre there, and the status on/off light is nice to see. again, you can disable those, but it gets confusing. The app has a timer on it, and also keeps power-on stats for the outlets. The USB outlets are always on.

> 24 hourI bought this for my Christmas tree and it works perfectly with being integrated with Google. Sometimes the switch will drop off wifi but I dont believe that is because of the switch but more of my network. Easy to set up and integrate with home system.

> 24 hourI have several products from TP kasa due to connection with Google/Alexa/brillant systems. This strip being reviewed has a single outlet which stopped working for an unknown reason. Several tests done and still not working for unknown reason. Contacted MFG and they were open to considering replacement, within warranty period as mine is, but I would be required to pay for shipping of defective item back to them and then wait for them to decide on outcome and send me a replacement. All this is unusual and after spending $35 on a smart power strip which stopped functioning properly. now have to spend more for same product? Other ratings will be good as the product is good. This one just had a defective aspect. Overall TP-Kasa products are worth it.
