Greater than one weekWorks great with Google Home /Nest and Amazon Alexa. I have both this and the 5-plug model and have had no issues setting them up or using them. I have been using it for over 2 years. If you can use the Kasa app, you shouldnt have an issue setting it up.

> 3 dayi wanted a power strip with individually addressable outlets for my aquarium that could be controlled by voice (Alexa) and also by schedule. This Kasa powerstrip really fits the bill. Like most Kasa products its very easy to set up via their app. (I also have several Kasa smart light bulbs.) It was easy to link with the Alexa app and now I can control the aquarium light and filter via voice command. Alexa, feed the fish starts a routine that turns off the pump for 10 minutes so that fishfood doesnt get blasted all around the tank. Having the light controlled on a set schedule is helpful to prevent algae growth so I dont have to remember to turn the light off. The USB ports are a useful addition. I have had no reliability issues -- it works perfectly. Ive had it running continuously for almost 3 months.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a dumb strip that I was using for my 3D printer and wireless interface/camera for it. I wanted to be able to set a timer and turn them off once a print finished at night while I was sleeping. This worked out great for me, minus the Alexa integration. You can setup groups within the Kasa app but those groups are not shared or displayed within Alexa. So dont waste your time making these plugs a group in the Kasa app, go inside Alexa app and make it there. Otherwise its fine, quick and responsive. The build quality is solid. Note that the USB ports are not high wattage so youll not get any fast charging on any of your devices. Overall its great, especially if you get it on sale

> 3 dayI needed a set up, that in the long run would be able to turn on and off my external hard drives, and a table lamp that sits behind my desk. I have several other TP-Link Kasa smart products, so that was one less app to have. I have never had a problem with integration or functionality with Kasa products. I ended up using one of the plugs for my wifes work laptop, but as you can see, there is quite a bit of space between each outlet. That provides more flexibility on what you want to plug in. Pros: - Adequately spaced outlets for potential larger plugs - If you have multi devices to plug in that you want smart access to, this is better than buying a normal power strip or surge protector and then buying additional smart plugs to plug into them (ie. buy a 6 outlet strip, only to have 3 individual smart plugs taking up all 6 spots on the strip) Cons: - Nice flat 90° plug for tight places, but I wish the cord itself was longer than ~36 inches. I ended up 3m velco taping it underneath the desk to keep it out of sight. - Price is a little on the high side. You could save a few dollars going the route I mentioned earlier (strip and individual smart plugs), but this is still more aesthetically pleasing, thus justifiable.

> 3 dayIts cool to be able to turn outlets on/off with the app and even locally via some custom code. Only complaint is that there isnt a way to issue a restart action that turns a device off then back on a moment later. This matters for my router since Id like to be able to use it to restart my router when the internet is acting up. (If I turn it off, Id lose connection and wouldnt be able to turn it back on). Otherwise it works just swell.

> 3 dayI have several other Kasa products, so when my previous smart power strip randomly died one day, I decided to finally shell out the extra dollars to get one from a brand I trust. I love that this power strip has a flat plug and was super easy to set up. Since Id already set up several other of their products, I just had to open up the app and take a few quick steps to be fully powered up. My one big issue with this power strip is the USB ports. For whatever reason, having my phone cord plugged in to the USB port just isnt working. I get a notification on my phone to check my charger connection, even though the cable is properly plugged in and Ive never had an issue with this cable before. My phone still technically charges, but it can take hours and will only actually charge if Im not using it. Other than this issue, Im pleased with the power strip and would definitely recommend this brand to anyone considering smart products!

> 3 dayWe have several of these and love how we can have several things, like our chargers, and be able to turn them on and off. Great with Alexa.
