This smart power strip is the best thing ever. We always worry did we unplug the straightener, curling iron etc. you can set a timer or use ur phone to turn it on and off. Best invention ever. It’s well worth the price, considering the alternative could be a house fire.

Ill preface by saying I already have two casa smart plugs and an Amazon plug. I also got this on sale and only paid $24. So Im familiar with smart devices and it was relatively inexpensive. I love being able to control multiple devices with this one strip. I use it for my phone, string lights, and a fan in my room. Its great because I can set timers on everything, so this way Im not wasting energy or killing my battery on my cell. The app makes it pretty easy to set up too. I also like that it has a surge protector so its keeping my devices safe while I use it. I dont like to give things five stars unless it was truly perfect, but this came INCREDIBLY close to my standards for five stars.

I bought this 3 times for myself which means 5 stars already. So I am giving 5 stars for right numer(3) of outlets and light marker and on/off button for each outlet, bright white color and flow of design and easy-to-use application. However, it will be way better if you make it less bulky. Also if you have c-port and usb port, instead of 2 usb ports. Recent version of smartphones use c-port. I use c-port to charge faster.

Well, its sleek looking. Handsome even. I saw this power strip and thought to myself well thats a good lookin power strip right there. That gets a solid 1 star..aside from the fact that Amazon doesnt allow zero. Im sure if i plugged things into it, it might work, but i could have bought 2x excellent APC dumb strips for the price. Ive got a google Wifi setup at home. First generation. NLS-1304-25. If you are familiar with mesh routers, aside from the netgear orbi, most of them have both 2.4 and 5 ghz broadcasted under the same SSID. Now most smart home devices, while all 2.4 ghz devices, can be classified per a google wifi setup as 1. Works out of the box 2. Works with a bit of gymnastics 3. Does not work / cant even get past setup Unlike the star rating, this fall under #3. ive got 4 Kasa plugs to my name and one other setup for another person. I could say I was a fan. Not my first time setting up a plug/plug like device in the TP link app. I had just failed attempt 21 with a TP link support person after failing setup 20 times myself. Not an exaggeration. i like even numbers. As part of the self troubleshooting process, i have tried the setup with 3 devices (2x Android, 1x ipad). Between each setup I did a reset by holding down one of the buttons on the switch to reset it back to a green/orange color and plugged/unplugged . Within said attempts, Ive tried things like only using an android device that works on the 2.4 ghz frequency (Android 8.1, some cheap LG), walking far away from my wifi to force a 2.4 ghz connection with my other android (pixel 3), and using the ipad. I can get as far as freezing on the attempting to connect the strip to the network or to the cannot connect to wifi screen, but no further. Rounding out hour 3.5 with support. Being escalated now to their senior engineer. Come on TP link. Ive already been burned by your Archer C8 router...gave TP link a chance with single plugs and was impressed..now this. Lets turn this review into 3 or 4 stars. EDIT: Follow the definition of insanity. Keep trying for hours. Do the same thing and eventually it will work. Actual troubleshooting got me nowhere. TP link support is useless. They will give you troubleshooting steps that you JUST DID and JUST TOLD them you did. This is staying at 1 star. Terrible product. Worse support. Powering on / item devices became hit or miss. Id hear the click but nothing. Id have to physically hit the switch button then hit it again for it to work. Stay away from this product. Get their single plugs if you are going to get their smart plug

Used it to control several lights and plugs in the same room. Works better than I expected!

Despite the other Kasa products I have this one for some reason was randomly turning on and off the appliances plugged into them, out of my control.

I bought this and tried it out and worked great but in the end didnt actually need it. It has app access and you can turn on and off each plug. Love that you dont need a hub to get this working adding more expense to it.

I purchased a similar Wi-Fi power strip from Walmart & it connected next to my router, but when I took it in the next room, it would not connect to the Wi-Fi. So I took it back to the store. & I found this one on Amazon & it was super easy to set it up & download the app. I like that it has a timer option or a manual option to turn it on or off. So far it’s great! And it worked perfectly for what I needed it for.

A while back I switched all of our miscellaneous smart home switches, bulbs, and plugs to Kasa and have always been very happy with the ease of setup and product quality. We bought this power strip for my wifes sewing/crafting room to plug in some of her crafting tools. Setup was simple as it is with all Kasa products, and once the power strip was added in the app, each plug showed up as an individually controllable device. They immediately showed up in our Alexa configuration (running the Kasa skill) and she was up and running. The power strip is well made, with a nice length of cord and easy to see lights for each plug so its immediately apparent which is on or off. This lets her know if the iron, glue gun, or other plug is on or off at a glance. Having a couple of USB charging ports close at hand is a nice addition, even if these ports are not smart controlled. We highly recommended this device as well as the other Kasa plugs, switches, and bulbs!
