> 3 dayIll preface by saying I already have two casa smart plugs and an Amazon plug. I also got this on sale and only paid $24. So Im familiar with smart devices and it was relatively inexpensive. I love being able to control multiple devices with this one strip. I use it for my phone, string lights, and a fan in my room. Its great because I can set timers on everything, so this way Im not wasting energy or killing my battery on my cell. The app makes it pretty easy to set up too. I also like that it has a surge protector so its keeping my devices safe while I use it. I dont like to give things five stars unless it was truly perfect, but this came INCREDIBLY close to my standards for five stars.

> 3 dayToo complicated. A friend suggested it who constantly forgets I am from the ancient generation.

> 3 dayI bought this 3 times for myself which means 5 stars already. So I am giving 5 stars for right numer(3) of outlets and light marker and on/off button for each outlet, bright white color and flow of design and easy-to-use application. However, it will be way better if you make it less bulky. Also if you have c-port and usb port, instead of 2 usb ports. Recent version of smartphones use c-port. I use c-port to charge faster.

> 3 dayThis has to be the easiest smart controlled device I have worked with. The only downside is it does make a click when turned off/on but I don’t mind

> 3 dayI wanna give this 5 stars because its a cool gadget but sometimes it glitches in the app and it messes with my appliances. Also Alexa doesnt recognize the device well.

> 3 dayI have purchased many Kasa smart products and have enjoyed them all. I have found them to be very reliable until now. Last night my power strip appears to have shorted out in the middle of the night. The lamp and other devices that were plugged in to the powership began flickering on and off and now the power ship is making a hissing noise. This is extremely inconvenient because it was at 2:00 a.m. and I couldnt control my lights and the power strip was behind a nightstand. I will say the other smart power ships that I have bought from the same company have all worked extremely well and Ive not had any issues. Im hoping that this issue is a complete one-off and that the others continue to work without issue

06-06-2025I bought it specifically to always power two Raspberry Pi 2B+s through the USB outlets (2.4A) and to conditionally power two 3D printers. You do need to install a phone app, to attach to power strip to your wi-fi network - and it is convenient to name the device and/or the individual plugs. After that, you can ignore the app. (I did not test the Kasa app, but it does look clean and offers hooks into Alexa/Google Assistant/IFTTT/Smart Things, as well as generic sensors, door locks, motion sensors, and smart bulbs.) Home Assistant had a simple integration that found the plugs after they had been set up through the Kasa app, and the power strip responded 100% to the HA controls. I am very happy with the purchase, and will consider more of these in the future.

Greater than one weekIts cool to be able to turn outlets on/off with the app and even locally via some custom code. Only complaint is that there isnt a way to issue a restart action that turns a device off then back on a moment later. This matters for my router since Id like to be able to use it to restart my router when the internet is acting up. (If I turn it off, Id lose connection and wouldnt be able to turn it back on). Otherwise it works just swell.
