> 24 hourBasically this just works. I found this because my wife wanted a power strip with individual controls. We have other smart plugs and switches but this essentially acts as three smart plugs. The TP-Link stuff has been super-reliable for us and integrates well with Google home. I bought one of these for a friend for Christmas last year and hes been able to use it with Alexa without any troubles.

> 24 hourFirst, I want to note that I love the Kasa smart home products. I use many of them to make my daily life a bit similer. They are always easy to set up, integrate well with my Amazon Alexa, and match my white minimal aesthetic. Therefore, I have a brand bias, and when I saw the small smart powerstrip, I knew I needed it to match my larger powerstrip from the same company. The power strip does all it says and has been a great smart home feature. It is the perfect way for me to make sure my flat iron is turned off after I leave the house, by utilizing their app. Or have Alexa turn on my aromatherapy wax warmer when I am already laying in bed relaxing. On the other hand, it is a little bit expensive compared to other options in the category. It is certainly not something anyone needs in their life. But it is a luxury that will make your life just a little bit easier.

> 24 hourMe encantó, a penas que la sacas de su empaque se nota la calidad, no como otras reglas que piensas que al pisarlas se dañan, no... además hasta luce bien. Me encanta que cada switch es independiente y a la vez pueden trabajar en conjunto.

> 24 hourI purchased a similar Wi-Fi power strip from Walmart & it connected next to my router, but when I took it in the next room, it would not connect to the Wi-Fi. So I took it back to the store. & I found this one on Amazon & it was super easy to set it up & download the app. I like that it has a timer option or a manual option to turn it on or off. So far it’s great! And it worked perfectly for what I needed it for.

> 24 hourBest for using multiple smart devices and controlling it with one switch. Works perfectly but makes a loud click sound every time you turn a device on or off.

> 24 hourIt was fine for a few weeks before power / wifi went out. Now it disconnects frequently. Have power cycled everything and its well within wifi range. Hopefully it decides to work consistently again.

> 24 hourI bought this to use with my Google home setup and it works just fine (once it was setup). Theres a little challenge with the initial setup. You do have to bring it online with the Kasa app on your phone first, before Google will recognize the device (or at least that was my experience). That was the only hiccup for me. Other than that they work as expected.

> 24 houri wanted a power strip with individually addressable outlets for my aquarium that could be controlled by voice (Alexa) and also by schedule. This Kasa powerstrip really fits the bill. Like most Kasa products its very easy to set up via their app. (I also have several Kasa smart light bulbs.) It was easy to link with the Alexa app and now I can control the aquarium light and filter via voice command. Alexa, feed the fish starts a routine that turns off the pump for 10 minutes so that fishfood doesnt get blasted all around the tank. Having the light controlled on a set schedule is helpful to prevent algae growth so I dont have to remember to turn the light off. The USB ports are a useful addition. I have had no reliability issues -- it works perfectly. Ive had it running continuously for almost 3 months.

> 24 hourI bought it specifically to always power two Raspberry Pi 2B+s through the USB outlets (2.4A) and to conditionally power two 3D printers. You do need to install a phone app, to attach to power strip to your wi-fi network - and it is convenient to name the device and/or the individual plugs. After that, you can ignore the app. (I did not test the Kasa app, but it does look clean and offers hooks into Alexa/Google Assistant/IFTTT/Smart Things, as well as generic sensors, door locks, motion sensors, and smart bulbs.) Home Assistant had a simple integration that found the plugs after they had been set up through the Kasa app, and the power strip responded 100% to the HA controls. I am very happy with the purchase, and will consider more of these in the future.
