Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - Sony PSP

Wow so glad i finally got around to playing this. Yea i know im late , but oh well. Everything about it was just fun & flawless. Of course its Kingdom Hearts so i knew itd be good. A lot of people didnt consider it because its what happened before. Yea you dont get to play as Sora or anything , but playing as Ventus,Aqua,and Terra is amazing. You really start to like them and forget all about missing the other characters. It explains so much as well. Basically not playing this game is missing out. :)

I bought this game after watching a gameplay trailer, to be honest I had great expectations of it. I thought the story would be deep and explain the origins of many unresolved matters of the KH I and II games. But it doesnt, it only confused me. The batte system is awesome though, also the item collection systems and the way you learn new abilities. But to be honest sidequests are limited, storylines are exteremly short and the plots are not as good as the past KH games. I saw them as a mediocre copy of the same storyline of KH I and II. I played only one storyline (out of three), after that I quite dumped my PSP system and put it back to my drawer, where it has remained for 4 months now. If you are a KH fan, go ahead and buy it: you will love it. But if you are just a gamer who liked the previous games and is wondering if this game would be good enough, DONT BUY IT. You will only regret spending the money.

The latest game in the awesome Kingdom Hearts series, Birth by Sleep is for the PSP and surprisingly awesome! Chronilogically, its the first game in the series, set 10 years before the first Kingdom Hearts games. This means we have a whole new set of people to pay as instead of the usual Sora (or Roxas). BbS actually has three people to play as and thus three storylines to follow, each interconnecting with others. Its gets a bit confusing at points if you take a long break between storylines, but the game gives you a timeline after beating it. You can play as Terra, Ven, or Aqua, and each has their distinct style/strength/weaknesses. Ven fights a little similar to Roxas, his emphasis more on speed. Terra is powerful, but a bit slow. And Aqua is weak at keyblade hits but strong in magic. But the gameplay is excellent. I play most games for story above everything else. KHII and the remake of Chains of Memories were my favourites in the series, but Birth by Sleep has almost take than spot. BbS answers a lot of questions fans of the series have been asking, but also brings more of its own. SLIGHT SPOILERS: I thought Ven would be my favourite due to his resemblance/connection to Roxas, but Terra took the cake. It was easy to pick out that he would one day become Xemnas, but his transformation of a strong warrior trying to do right to almost being tricked into being the bad guy just was WOW. I ordered Kingdom Hearts 3 by DealTavern. I definitely recommend buying your games from them! I will be repurchasing in due time with this seller. My product was in pristine condition, factory sealed as promised for a great low price! This video game series is my absolute favorite over any other video games out there. Im obsessed with RPGs and if you are too - get your hands on some copies of the series, you will not regret it! The graphics are phenomenal on the PSP.

This game, although still fun, brings a new fighting style that is a lot more challenging....it has a Final Fantasy reminiscent fighting style now, and its not as easy to get through as the first two games were.

I have played every single Kingdom Hearts game on the market and this one is one of the best. Choose your character and experience the wonders of the Kingdom Hearts world. Play through classic Disney stories while discovering the mysteries of the keyblade wielders! A must have for any fan of the series, or anyone who just wants a fun game to play!

this game is a great RPG for any age. I was always attracted to square enix and capcom games. though i only had the first game from the kingdom hearts sequel which was kingdom hearts chain of memories, so naturally i believed that Sora would be the main character and so as Riku. but any who amazing game

This is a brilliant prequel to what will be one of most well known video game crossovers of all time. Beautiful graphics, the PSP shines like the PS2. True sceneries could be played with more but for the PSP Im massively impressed. The story is absolutely heartbreaking, and incredibly dramatic. A perfect tie in to Kingdom Hearts, while also setting up potential storylines for KH3(whenever that decides to be announced). I despised 356/2 days, absolutely loathed it this is such a breathe of fresh air. True its a hack and slash but there are so many minigames and story to tell its just a fantastic experience. The gameplay like any Kingdom Hearts game is the typical God of War hack and slash with reaction commands every now and then. I like how they added D links and I LOVE the new combat system, its very enjoyable. The one problem with the gameplay is the camera mode, they fixed the problem in KH2 but it came back in this one, granted it does not really effect the game play but when your trying to fight the boss and it locks on to a crate it can kind of make or break you. Which now leads me to difficulty, this game is HARD. It is very challenging especially on Proud Mode, I underestimated the level of difficulty. It seems all those fans that complained about how easy KH 2 was can breathe a fresh air because BBS especially on proud mode is HARD. I think I died 6 times in the Sleeping Beauty world, very difficult. This game is well worth the money, well worth the wait and an incredible experience. 5/5 easily, I hope I helped. Im aware of the kingdom hearts series but i was really surprised by the level of content that it contained. The 3 story plots have their own uniqueness and it makes the game seem new when starting a different characters story. there is some overlap but thats expected since the 3 characters are connected so deeply.

Kingdoms hearts birth by sleep is a great game specially for those who like or are familiar with the other two KH sequel. This game is fairly long, somewhat because it allows the player to complete the game in 3 different characters (terra, ventus, aqua); which are in 3 different settings of the worlds or their crossing paths. The near end part this story have taken me by surprise. Looking forward to these KH games
