I used these to back up my prone-to-failure hard drive before installing a new computer. I was able to transfer everything needed on only one flash drive. Works well and good price.

I can always count on Kingston flash drives. Very reliable. Great price. Its the only brand Ill buy.

TO BACK UP MY COMPUTER FILES

Certain types of files will take a while. Its not a fast drive. But I bought it so that I could transfer folders between computers. So it does the job. However, its as slow as a USB 2.0 drive.

I bought 4 of these, 2 8GB, and 2 16GB so I could send movies, music, etc. to my Ex. They work great, I havent tested the read/write speed, but it seems reasonably quick to me. They get used on a Chromebook with no internet access, and it serves the purpose for both of us, she gets to watch and listen to her movies and music with an ease of use with no internet access, they get mailed back and forth, and beats burning CDs/DVDs. The 5 year warranty with the Kingston name sold me, and I havent been disappointed, and they get treated a little rough.

I was alarmed and surprised to read reviews about problems with thumb drives by almost all manufacturers. I had an old DataTraveler that performed just fine (as have a multitude of thumb drives in my possession) so I decided to give this one a try. Just fine for me. No issues.

A well-made product. Plastic is tough. It slides very well when opening and closing. It has the typical blue color of USB 3.0 inside. Excellent product, 100% recommended. Later I will see the speed of writing and reading data.

(Its colored because I bought 2 of these and had to mark them) Ive believed the Kingston flash drives are built well since I bought one quite awhile ago for school and it lasted so long and was so dependable so I started buying this brand and havent been disappointed yet. This particular one has great transfer speed and overall great value for your money. The only thing I could find negative about it is the track its set up with to open and close has the potential to become jammed if some crap gets in there, plus ut really seems to serve no purpose anyway since the end is still exposed. But for the money this is a 5 star buy its working out great!
