I might have given this a 5 Star rating if not for following conditions. Its not near as fast as is claimed HOWEVER thats probably because of the Dell Im using. I installed an internal USB 3 PCI-E card in my Dell Optiplex 780 Mini Tower. It may very well be that that the system bus or the card I used is the bottleneck here. Im not tech savvy enough to give you guys a real answer on this. Still, it IS faster than USB 2 thats for sure. Add-On review: As of 06/25/2018 I have come to the conclusion that this would be a very good USB 2 flash drive, but NOT a good USB 3 flash drive. I should have been more critical of it when i first purchased it so I could get my money back. Too late now. Shame on Kingston for releasing this product as labeled. This is the LASt Kingston product I ever buy.

This 128GB Kingston thumb drive has held any storage I have needed to keep on it for the past year and a half. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I got this guy as a back up to a must more expensive Kingston I got a while ago ( yes i have like 4 thumb drives/ dropbox/ google drive all to back up work and school research/ etc) This unit works great for most user, the only knock on the unit is not that important but needs to be said, its read and write speeds are slower then the more expensive Kingston thumb drives. However again most people will be ok with the slower drive as long as its not used for something like a media server stick ie play movies in HD off of. in saying that i really have not had a problem with speed for any of my uses including as a media stick. Pros: Price, name brand, would buy again Cons: read/write speeds ( not a problem for most users)

It gets the job done, but it’s a bit on the big side when compared to some other options. The sliding mechanism is not very smooth, but it works. Good price for the amount of memory though.

So, this 16 GB USB 3.1 drive performs significantly worse than an old 4 GB USB 2.0 drive that I tested, but its the cheapest drive available in its capacity

I always keep a few USB drives on hand for myself & clients. 64G used to be overkill but folks tend to keep more and more data. Good price & reasonably priced.

Great device. Ive been using my old USB for the last 5 years, and it started getting a bit slow and the aesthetics werent pleasing, so I opted for this device. It is USB 3.0, and is by far the fastest USB Ive ever used. Yes, havent compared many USBs, but if you just need a USB in a hurry for some sort of thing, I would get this. Something I dont like about this is that the sliding mechanism left a lot of scratches on the middle part, and its been bothering me, but oh well. Cant do much about it. The build quality is eh. The top part is a bit loose, but it is connected to the USB, so youll never lose a cap, heh. Also, it has a matte finish, like the AFT. I would recommend this to a friend!

Needed a larger capacity thumb drive to update software on UTV. Had no problem with it and my maps are up to date now.

I know these are to be cheap drives, so for $4 i cant complain too much, but these guys are SLOW on writes, saying these are usb 3.0 drives is a joke, as they arent even usb 2.0 speed limited. if you plan to write to these guys once and then only read from them, i guess they aint too bad, but its gonna take ~30 mins to write that 16gb to it.

If you are looking for a good usb stick for recording footage on Xbox Series X, this is a good one. Looks good and has plenty of storage for videos, small games, pictures, etc.
