> 24 hourI got the Quest 2 to play golfing simulators after finally breaking down and getting a nice tethered VR headset for my main setup. The Quest 2 was basically unusable for my purpose with the stock headstrap. Constantly looking down then looking to the hole, it did not hold the headset in place well enough. Even minor movement between those motions is very distracting and with the small sweet spot on the Quest 2 it was straining on the eyes to move out of focus so often. Replaced with this and now its comparable if not better fit than my MUCH more expensive tethered headset. Weight distribution is solid. I can now look around the course without the headset moving. It also allows me and my wife to swap the headset and fit with a couple turns of the knob like other elite headstraps. The leather or PU they use is very soft and has a great feel. I havent depleted the battery reserve yet, its been back on the charger prior so no complaints there. It converted the Quest 2 from a toy with some neat features to a fully usable device for my golf sim! Cant recommend enough, especially compared to Metas twice as expensive option.

> 24 hourUnit is nicely finished, balance is all good. The battery is not supplying any power at all. Its fully charged, but no voltage at the USB charging plug. The plug also fits so loosely in the quest 2 that it falls out easily. I tried charging other devices like phones with same result. Any of my other USB C chargers work fine on the quest 2 and their plugs fit the quest snugly, so I am confident that the battery headset is the issue. Will return for an exchange and update review later. Update February 6: Received replacement unit over the weekend. Works properly and Im enjoying using it with no more issues on the charging end. USB plug fits normality (wont come loose during use). Revised rating to well earned 5 stars).

> 24 hourThis ended up being a great purchase. After doing my research, I finally decided Kiwi would be the best path. So far, no bumps in the road. This is extremely comfortable and balances the weight of the Oculus perfectly, as I struggled with pressure aches across my forehead and cheek bones with the standard Oculus head strap (as I just could not find that balance with the elastic band). The easy to use twist dial that allows you to get in and out of the headset easily. Which is great for two reasons; 1. I would always smudge my forehead across the lenses putting the headset on with the standard elastic straps leaving areas of my vision blurred. 2. This allows for multiple users to switch the headset easily and quickly - game time with the kids doesnt feel like a Super Bowl halftime show changing out players. This is going to be my nitpick about the head strap. The bulk of the battery pack is quite noticeable if you play any games connected to your PC while stationary in a chair (I do a lot of sim racing). During these times I do not need the extra batter (as I am hard connected to another source). It would be nice to have a removable battery pack while keeping the integrity of the strap. Overall: this head strap is solid, comfortable, and most importantly allows you to enjoy your games without expending extra effort in thinking about what is attached your head.

> 24 hourI bought this for the added battery life, but it makes the headset so much more comfortable to wear. The battery acts as a counter-balance that takes the weight off of your cheekbones. It is also so much easier to switch between users by just using the dial and dealing with the one strap. Would recommend to anyone who owns a Quest.

> 24 hourI wish I would have purchased this head strap sooner! Its SO much more comfortable and the battery life is amazing! I dont have to have the headset squeezing my face anymore. It stays in place and it doesnt even put much pressure on my face at all. I can play two rounds of mini golf and its still comfortable. Our battery used to die after a round of mini-golf (with 4-5 people), but now, the battery on the headset is still at more than 50% and then you have the full battery on the headset. Well never run out of battery life. Me, my husband and our son purchased this head strap and we all love it!

> 24 hourThis product is great but you need to know that it won’t work correctly with a magnetic charger dongle attached!!! It will not give power to the Quest with the dongle attached, I guess it thinks it is still charging. Once I figured that out though, it works great. Just be aware that you will need to remove the magnetic dongle if you have one from this battery pack or it won’t provide power to the Quest at all.

> 24 hourI previously owned the basic KIWI design comfort strap (no battery or headphones) and loved it. Much more comfortable that the stock strap and very easy to use. I saw that they came out with this one that had an integrated battery and headphones and bought it thinking it was a no-brainer upgrade. Trying the head strap on for the first time, impressions were good. The strap was just as comfortable as the basic one, if not more so because of the better weight distribution thanks to the integrated battery. The headphones took a little getting used to since they have quite a bit of adjustment with makes them a bit fiddly, but once I got them in the right spot they feel pretty good and isolated surprisingly well. The main downside to the headphones is that they increase the overall size of the headset substantially and cant be removed so pretty much no case on the market will fit it. I heard that KIWI design may be coming out with a larger case to accommodate it though. The battery and headphone cables are nicely thought out and had no problem plugging into the ports. I saw some other people complaining that the USB-C cable was vey hard to plug in, but I didnt experience that with mine. Maybe a little more force than normal, but nothing to be concerned about. Using the head strap for an actual gaming session is when I realized I didnt like the headphones. Compared to the Quests built in speakers, the headphones sounded a bit tinny. They lacked the fullness and wide soundstage the built in ones could provide. I also began to have ear pain after only about 10 minutes of use. For me, I couldnt quite get the headphones to be parallel with my ears so they would end up putting excessive pressure on the back of my ears. I feel like this wouldnt have been a problem if the headphones werent spring loaded and instead allowed you to simply adjust the distance from your ears. Ive had similar experiences with standard on-ear headphones before so it may just be that I have overly sensitive ears so take that with a grain of salt. I ended up using the headset with the headphones unplugged and flipped up and out of the way and I enjoyed the experience much more. Overall, I think its a great head strap and the headphones may not be an issue for some, but for me they were a deal breaker unfortunately. If they had better sound quality and didnt apply so much pressure I wouldve kept it. Ill be returning it and purchasing the head strap with just the battery.
