At first it was very good and useful, but within a week it stopped detecting the GFCI tester. Dont know what happened, item was taken care of and stored properly.

Tool is just as described, it arrived quickly, and works! This makes finding the right breakers a breeze, especially when youre working alone.

It was frustrating guess which circuit breaker an outlet was connected. With this the guess work is eliminated saving time and effort.

Excellent product

Bought this tracer to make circuit location more efficient. We are now doing work for others and this tool is a necessity since you cant turn breakers on and off to isolate what is to be worked on. Here, the transmitter sends a signal that is picked up in the breaker box on the appropriate breaker. The homeowner is unaware of our effort to isolate the circuit. Excellent tool.

Great product

I just got off a call with a very helpful technician at Klein. I believe I learned the following: 1. To get this tool to have a chance of working, the technician told me that I should unplug ALL the devices I have plugged into any outlet in the entire house. 2. Even then, I should not expect that the tool will accuracy identify the controlling circuit breaker. In my case it identify 8 as the controller breaker. However, when I turn the 8th breaker off the outlet was still powered. Turning the 7th breaker off did remove power to the outlet.

This thing is amazing! No more flipping breakers until I find the right one. I tested it on 3 known outlets and 2 unknown outlets. Worked every time, quickly, easily, and accurately. I can even tell which of a double-stuff (twin) breaker it is. Definitely follow the directions! I get the most accurate results if I relearn the label every time I move the transmitter, even if the tool has stayed on the whole time. Hit reset, learn the panel, find the breaker. Fast and easy. I got this as a gift. Definitely glad they got me the full set with the lamp socket adapter.

I still had to flip switches to locate the correct breaker. Saw a youtube video on it and thought Id try it but its a bust. Just dont work.
