Husband said this is easier to use and much more accurate.

When I received my order it was missing a few pieces. I was my understanding that the order included the following: 1 Circuit Breaker Finder Accessory Kit ( Cat. No. 69411) includes standard 3-prong to 2-prong grounding adapter 2 Light socket adapter for finding the correct circuit of a lighting fixture 3 Alligator clip adapter enables use on bare wires Please either send them or let me know if my understanding was incorrect. We bought a house that had 2 breaker panels mounted outside. Only a few breakers were identified. This made easy work of identifying those breakers. Of course, you can only use this on outlets. Can lighting or ceiling and wall mounted fixtures are out of the question. This device will tell ya if theyre wired wrong also!

The breaker box had no markings.. this made it simple to quickly tone out the various plus and switches.

Perhaps this works on a regular breaker, but not when its a tandem breaker with a multiwire circuit. My has multiwire circuits on all 15 and 20 amp circuits and the finder could not identify the correct breaker. It could get within two breakers but that still required turning one breaker off, running in the house to check the outlet then back outside to test the next one. That I can do with a radio.

Saves a ton of walking time. For me, it was 100% accurate.
