Gorgeous, clear colors(except for the Pearl and Metallics-opaque) Nicely arranged and packaged. I actually painted sample spots on the inside of the lid at each square with the number for each pan. There are not any color names in English, but that does not bother me since I go by the Actual Color anyway. I highly recommend this set which is also very portable! Enjoy!

Mine arrived today and theyre *beautiful*. All the pans are perfect and you can really see the attention to detail as everything is hand-made with this item. Yes, theres no english translations from the native Japanese, but its quite easy to look up the colours and make one yourself. If youre not fussed about such things, theres a colour watch on the underside of the top lid that you can use as a reference when painting. Beautiful product and definitely the quality I expect from Kuratake Zig, and all Japanese hand crafted products. :)

Ive been enjoying watercolor for a short time. Thanks to Pinterest I decided to give it a try. Totally enjoy the discovery of talent I didnt know existed within me. I ordered this product because what I have been using was limited in depth of color. These product has not disappointed one bit. Beautiful colors!! The price and packaging are perfect.

I LOVE these! They are Gansai (check out Sadie Saves the Day on youtube to better understand Gansai) so they have a different binder than what we are used to, but the colors melt my heart! Enjoy!

I am so happy with my 36 piece set of watercolors- the colors are rich and vibrant and the pans are very large. I believe these are a great value and will last for many years to come. Very juicy watercolor.

Translucent, gorgeous colors, large pods, love using these. Problem is the fact that they all dislodged in transit & are not secured. The box is ok & that is the reason for only 4 stars. There are no brown based tones. I would reorder these. A larger set would be great.

Beautiful and deep pigmented colors. Worth every penny.
