I was a little nervous, shipped items are now exposed to our winter temps, and I had read a few reviews about cracks in the paint pans, but my set arrived in pristine, beautiful condition. It was wrapped/packaged carefully. They are a gift for my niece, so I can’t speak for quality and performance, but i was very impressed with the condition upon receiving. Great price too, compared to other places sold. I should get some for myself!

Great set , good sheerness and mix ability. Would be a 5 if it came in a closed case I stress of a box, they have a tendency to fall out when I carry them in my art bag.

These paints are not as good as I had hoped for. Many of the colors lose their brilliance over time or if exposed to strong light. When dry, paints become dull and chalky, The packaging also doesnt provide any pigment composition information. The lighter colors like yellow and metallic colors are weak, meaning you cant effectively superimpose them over darker colors. Overall I would rate these as student grade.

this is probably the best water color pallet i have ever used. the pigments of the colors are so rich and powerful. i also love the assortment of colors. would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to water paint or wants to start getting into it.

The colors are very beautiful down on paper, though I can see a bit of a difference against some Daniel Smith and Turner artist grade watercolors that I used next to them in comparison but not so much that you would stop using them altogether. I really enjoyed using these watercolors, they go down nice on the page and are fairly vibrant. Regardless of their grade, artist or student, do yourself a favor and try out these beautiful paints.

Wow I over this watercolors. Ive saw someone that didnt these are the best you can get I far as Im concerned they are excellent. I buy so much on amazon and iD have to say this purchase was my absolute favorite. Im just so happy I gave I. To the temptation and got them, they are worth every penny and Ill never go back the cheaply kiddy pots. I have tons of tube water colors as well but, these are my favorite for ease of use too Oh and a little goes a long... long way.

So buttery and delicious to work with. Very opaque. Some of the colors are a bit strange to my American aesthetic since these are technically for Gansai painting but I adore them. Love how it has a spot on the inside lid for swatching. And the land are really large (1.5) which means you can get a large brush in for washes or to cover a large area. I am a beginning painter and purchased these after seeing some videos. Really enjoying the medium and this set makes me feel confidence because they are so versatile. Definitely, not the be all, end all for watercolors, but a great set to have. They blend so well and.. Well, I just love the blues and reds. Wish the browns were better, but they more than make up for this. None of my pans were broken. Everything arrived in perfect condition.
