> 3 dayI absolutely love this set, and it is what started me to really take this on as a hobby. Ive even opened up an etsy shop now and still come back to this set when Im painting veggies and things in the style of this attached image! The paints are smooth, work well on mixed media paper, and have wonderfully sharp pigmentation. Look how vibrant the color carrots are! Just had to write a review, even though its been over a year since I purchased them.

Greater than one weekgreat colors and a beautiful set but two of the pans barely had any paint. I sprayed the entire set with water to begin swatching and the paint in the center was so thin in two pans that I could immediately see the white bottom.

> 3 dayThe colors are not super transclucent but it works with the illustrations. I would not recommend this set for classic watercolor artists. It goes super with lettering and doodles.

> 3 dayLovely paints, but other sellers are a bit cheaper, so check around for the best price before you pick a seller. The gorgeous, traditional Japanese packaging (embossed, decorative, high quality paper box) makes this a wonderful gift. Mine came in a padded envelope inside another brown paper box, and none of my paints were cracked or chipped.

> 3 dayIve been using Winsor/Newton Cotman paints because people told me they were high quality, but these Kuretake watercolors are far superior! The vividness of the colors, the excellent blending, and user-friendliness of the paints are fantastic. With my Cotman paints, I was always disappointed with the results when I followed painting tutorials because the paints simply did not behave how they ought - faint colors, poor quality of/or utter failure to blend, and poor performance on having that beautiful, naturally unpredictable watercolor look when they dried. The Kuretake paints answer all these failings wonderfully, and I couldnt be happier. Initially I was concerned that there wasnt a lot of paint in the trays since they are only about half full, but Ive been painting with them for a couple weeks and havent started running out yet. These paints are also very affordable, to top it all off. I expect to buy more in the future!

> 3 dayHigh quality and beautiful colors. Love the ease of use. These watercolors quickly turn creamy when you go to pick up the color with your wet brush. Highly recommend.
