Gorgeous watercolor kit!

Considering I’ve wanted this pallet for a while I am a bit disappointed. My pallet came with cracked paint. It upsets me that it’s experienced some kind of heat. 8 of the colors are cracked.

These are beautiful, I did swatches of them when I got them and I was super impressed by the color payoff. I cannot wait to paint with these, if you ave any doubts, you shouldnt they are great, value and quality is so good.

Im an advanced amateur watercolor painter, so I care about quality but dont want to spend $10 - $20 for a tube of paint. I also like the convenience of pan vs. tube colors. I was looking for a paint with good saturation, nice variety of colors and reasonable price. I couldnt be happier with this Kuretake Gansai Tambi set. They have every quality I was searching for and they are full, generous-sized pans (see image). The color selection is great; they are highly pigmented and have a nice creamy surface. The set comes with a color chart (in Japanese), but its more useful to make your own swatch chart. (The paints are also identified by number.) I was familiar with the Kuretake name and the other reviews on this site convinced me that these paints were a good choice, and they definitely are. (P.S. The dog is in the photo for the cuteness factor, not for scale!)

This is exactly what I was searching for, all the colors are brillent and easy to mix even painting with some traditional Asian caligraphy and simple landscapes. The seller did stunning job of packing the set and then had it sent quickly. Yes, I will tell others about this seller and their integrity to customers.

My daughter was very excited to receive these and immediately filled out the color chart inside. They seem to be a good quality and the packaging was nice.

Love using these watercolors, my first try at pan colors. I usually use tube watercolors, but I have been extremely pleased at the vividness of these, and I can highly recommend them just for that fact alone. I came across them at the frugalcrafter site at YouTube after her review. I certainly agree with her assessment. And, really, the price is outstanding. You will have to make a color chart since everything is in Japanese, which is what I did. That way, without a name but just a number, it is hard to determine how the paint looks after reacting with water so you will need the color chart to see the true colors. Dont be hesitant about purchasing these. You will be delighted. I guarantee it.
