Hogwarts Great Hall is a must-have for Harry Potter fans who also love building with Legos. The size and coloring of the finished product makes a great display piece, or for the littles would make a great playset. The level of detail included in the pieces and figurines in this set is impressive. It goes well with the other Harry Potter Lego sets that have been released (the person I gave this set to has it displayed side-by-side with some of the other sets in the collection).

This LEGO is excellent and all pieces are exact fits. I will continue to buy LEGOs products for my children.

Everything went as expected

Sooo I bought it for my gfs birthday. It took 4 hours to complete :D It is just a really good one. We loved it.

Ive done several of the LEGO architect series, so it was fun to get out of the historic mode for a minute and wander to Hogwarts. While the movie interest is a little more tepid than a decade ago (lets face it: Mystical Beasts is no Harry Potter), my kids still loved putting this one together with me. If youve done any of the historical models, youll be acquainted with the buildout. While LEGO creatives tend not to do more than a once-duplicate (i.e. wings of an aircraft), this includes dozens of duplications. Smartly, though, LEGO did these in pieces that fit easily into any collection, so the 64 4x2-pip bricks were a great choice over something specialty, even if it made it a little more time-consuming to assemble. The resulting LEGO castle was also perfect for my Halloween Peeps diorama for our contest at work. Fun to build, fun to play with, fun to create. This is why LEGO remains a favorite

The box arrived in a shipping box so you can t see the gift. The box is huge and makes an exciting size for gifting. There are a lot of pieces, which is the exciting part if you like to build.
