> 24 hourPerfect curved gaming monitor. Good price for the resolution and quality. The movable stand is so convenient. I hook up my ps5 Nintendo switch and Alienware and play tons of games and have to say the graphics are awesome.

> 24 hourWow this is my first ultra wide monitor and Im still in awe at the amazing picture quality. I have an IPS Samsung Odyssey next to it so you can clearly see the color profile differences between a VA and IPS panel. However, I realize that VA has better white and blackness, which is more conducive to my productivity as I type and read documents a lot. Gaming on this is fast and the color calibration is unrivaled on LG! I As a casual gamer I cant justify spending between $800 and $1000 for a Samsung or Alienware ultra-wide, but this is such a great value (a steal when its on sale).

> 24 hourI was very sceptical about buying this monitor for many reasons, main one being the lack of reviews not just here, but all over the internet. it seemed as though LG wanted to keep this monitor under wraps.... but wow let me tell you i am truly impressed with this monitor. right out of the box the colours didnt need much tuning at all. My eyes may not be trained to nicer monitors, coming from a 1080 165 hz monitor, but from what the reviews i watched said, i was expecting it to be on the dimmer side at 300 nits, but its more than i could ever need. HDR is fine nothing to rave about, and a mild amount of ghosting. ive tested it on a few titles such as fortnite, call of duty, and spider man for the full ultrawide experience and i cant say i was dissatisfied at all with the colors or anything major. I got this on sale for 300 and i couldnt be happier with the purchase. For anyone whose sceptical about buying it, just do it you will be happy especially if youre coming from a 1080p monitor or below. its only day one for me, so this is a disclaimer. I will report back a few months from now to see if everything stays as great as it is. thanks for coming to my ted talk

> 24 hourLG always has been my favorite tv/ monitor company forever and sorry to say but this product fell short from expectations. One of the most important things I check in monitors is if they have a Backlight bleeding. To me this the holy grail of QA for a product like this. If the unit like this one has it so bad, it means that there will be some more issues. Im returning this. I dont remember seeing one so bad since the first flat panel tvs from 2004.

> 24 hourThere is no noticeable smearing/ghosting when gaming.. My other Dell VA 165HZ monitor has horrible ghosting/smearing and a weird rainbow affect when viewing dark content. I was hoping that this panel had none of that and was very impressed. I only notice any ghosting when scrolling on twitter because of the deep black background/white textss. There is no noticeable ghosting on any other applications nor have I noticed it while gaming even in competitive high-fps games & in dark environments. Response times seem to be better then on the Odyssey G5 34 & other budget Dell VA panels. I did not have any dead pixels Got this for $296, nothing is available as good or better then this monitor for that price so I cant complain. Truly suprised how cheap it is and what you receive.

> 24 hourWent from an older Benq gaming monitor. Wanted to try an ultrawide and not convinced 4k is really worth the price for a bit more sharpness let alone the requirements in hardware to drive one when gaming. First the monitor is sturdy. Second it has a built in usb hub that makes mounting my web cam convenient. You will have to spend a few bucks to buy a cable none included. Third it has a great looking picture that is butter smooth when gaming. The menus and config are easy to manage. For the sale price I have no complaints would recommend.

> 24 hourThis is a review for the LG 34GP83A-B. Wow! I am an avid gamer who plays all genres, from fast-paced competitive FPS games, Open world RPGs and real-time strategy games and also watch a lot of videos and movies on my PC. I did a lot of research before choosing this monitor and it did not disappoint. This appears to be the exact same panel as the LG 34GN850 that was released several months prior for $1000 with the only difference being the logo on the back and less cables included in the box. Coming from a 27 Acer Predator IPS, which I believed to be one of the best gaming monitors, This LG UltraGear completely destroys it. The Colors are extremely accurate and the response time, while not a true 1ms GtG, is still faster and smoother than any monitor Ive ever used. The 10-bit panel at 144hz is essential for color accuracy while maintaining butter smooth motion. Overclocking to 160hz lowers the panel to 8-bit, but I cant tell the difference between 144hz and 160hz so I just leave it at 144hz to get the color advantage of a 10-bit panel. My only complaints is that the monitor does not have a dedicated G-Sync module, which I feel like an $800 monitor should have. That being said, it is Gsync Compatible and certified by Nvidia to work with Gsync, and I have had no screen tearing unless the framerate drops below 50fps as the freesync premium only supports a minimum of 48fps. This monitor has HDR10 support and is HDR400 certified but I would have liked the monitor to be brighter. Peak brightness is just over 400 nits, which is plenty bright for most use-cases but for HDR content, 400 nits just isnt quite enough to get an immersive HDR experience. Overall, this is BY FAR the fastest, smoothest and most satisfying gaming monitor Ive ever used. It is worth ever penny at $799 and I would highly recommend it.

> 24 hourI bought this to replace the ultra wide Dell monitor my ex-girlfriend took with her in our recent break up. And unlike my ex-girlfriend, this monitor compliments me. Im not using this for gaming, but I do process RAW photo files and work the most of my day in Microsoft products. For photo editing I think the colors are great, much better than the cheaper Dell my ex had. Before, I needed to use my laptop screen for more true color management, but moving images from my 4K laptop screen to this LG is pretty solid. This monitor can sit high which makes it easy to have it placed behind my laptop screen and sit above it without the need of another stand. It easily tilts and maintains whatever position you put it in. The stand is pretty big so I recommend a deep desk if you plan on using the one that comes with the monitor. To control the monitor, it has a single nub in the middle of the bottom part of the screen and it works pretty well to pop through the settings. Potential issue that was resolved: I use a Dell XPS 15 and at first this monitor wouldnt work properly with my resolution settings. The monitor thought I was outputting at 3840 x 2160 even though I had it set at 3440 x 1440, so it was sandwiching the display with black bars on the top and bottom. After almost tearing my hair out, I found a person online who gave instructions on how to resolve the issue. Display Settings>Select Monitor>Advanced Display Settings>Display Adapter properties for Display 2>List All Modes>3440 by 1440 I had to try a couple different ones before I got the 50 hertz to work properly with the screen. I also posted a picture of the menu I had to get to fix the issue. All in all, I am happy with this purchase and recommend for people who might be thinking of a budget ultrawide for work and photography.
