> 3 dayThe monitor itself is light for the size in my opinion. I did a desk mount VESA arm and freed the mess of wires under and around the stand. It makes for a cleaner desk and easier access to my 4K HDMI KVM switch. Some issues with resolution settings and mouse control switch between my Crosshair VIII DARK HERO and the other systems. I need to switch the monitor to the display port in order to run full resolution from the DARK HERO and back to HDMI for the other systems in order to keep keyboard and mouse control. Thats not a show stopper though and I halfway expected it. Some minor shadowing near the frame but no bad pixels and great image quality out of the box. I recommend this product.

18-11-2024This monitor is perfect! I needed a 2nd monitor and had a 24, but with a Surface laptop screen and a 24 screen, it still wasnt enough. I was nervous about going 34, but Im so glad I did! I love how I can multi-task on one screen now, which is something I couldnt do before. The quality is great, but Im also only using it for work, so Outlook, Teams, and some internet usage, and it performs perfectly for all those things! I can have Outlook and Teams up on the screen and dont feel restricted at all in the way Im using those apps. With the stand, it was taking up too much space on my desk, so I opted to mount it to the wall behind my desk and its the perfect distance from me when Im working and I can still tilt it as necessary.

> 3 dayI normally sit in bed, or on the couch and game on a big screen. Well, I had to make a home office real quick due to covid and just put a small table in front of the living room big screen. Not optimum. While it is 4k, everything had to be so big to be readable. I put up with it as I had no long term need for a home office. Well, now I do, as work will be a mix of onsite/home permanently. This widescreen ticked all the boxes, supports GSYNC, QHD 1440, fast refresh, good reviews, 144hz. I am very happy with this. It is very sharp, with even brightness across the screen, no dead pixels, and good color. So easy on the eyes. I hooked up my work laptop and gaming laptop (16gig 3080 graphics) and just wow. I never realized the eyestrain I put up with using a TV as a work monitor. The range of adjustment up/down and tilt is not much but enough for an average person sitting at a typical height table. It supports VESA 100 so you can use a monitor arm or wall mount for greater adjust-ability if needed. I dont hear any electronics whine, the text is so clear, and Skyrim never looked so good. I am upgrading the textures to 4k and installing my other games to the laptop now (its new too) and as they are modded for eyecandy/4k this monitor does not disappoint. UPDATE: Ive now had this almost a year. Only thing I really needed to do, was get an inexpensive monitor clamp-on-desk stand. Now I have tilt, swivel and height adjustments. 3 days a week, I work 8 hours looking at it and still cant get over how sharp and crisp the text is- edge to edge. No eye strain after a long day, and game away on weekends. So glad I didnt just get a basic monitor for work using the work allowance. This came out of my pocket and I am so glad I didnt cheap out on the monitor.

> 3 dayI’m giving this monitor 4 stars instead of the 5 because it is advertised to run higher refresh rates at 1440p when this is not true when playing on the PS5. I’m sure it runs great on a PC and of course the PS5 is no PC, but there wasn’t anything clear about this issue in the specs when doing my research. I only found out after a very disappointing unboxing and several attempts to figure it out. So if you are on PS5 and looking for that new 120hz capability, look elsewhere. This monitor is not going to cut it.

> 3 dayThe monitor that I am used to and use as a benchmark is a monitor from my MSI63 Stealth gaming laptop. It offers quite a powerful display even though it came out in 2018. Since then I upgraded to the Dell 34in Curved Monitor S3422DW. That was a big leap from my gaming laptop so going back from the dell to my MSI display to this was like discovering fire. The LG UltraGear QHD 34-Inch Curved Gaming Monitor is a top-of-the-line option for gamers seeking a high-quality, immersive gaming experience. The 34-inch curved display provides a wide field of view, making it easy to take in all the action on the screen. Perfect for FPS or 3rd person hack and slash games like Sekiro. The QHD resolution ensures that the images are crisp and clear, with vibrant colors and deep blacks. The monitors fast refresh rate and low input lag make for smooth and responsive gameplay. Gamers will enjoy a seamless experience, with no lag or stuttering. The curved design of the monitor also helps to reduce eye strain during extended gaming sessions. This makes the monitor not only a great gaming monitor but also ideal for work, streaming and other multi-media consumption. The monitor also has a variety of convenient features, such as on-screen control and multiple gaming presets. These options allow for easy customization and optimization of your gaming experience. Gamers can tailor the settings to suit their preferences and game types. Overall, this is a great gaming monitor that offers excellent performance, a host of useful features, and an immersive curved design that makes it a standout choice.

> 3 dayPro: Good image quality monitor, color accurate, brightness bright enough brighter than my old acer . Nice compact features bake in the monitor. The response time it 1-2ms but this nano ips panel promised it will provide 1ms response I guess it have to do with the graphics card. Nvidia g-sync enabled monitor. Refresh rate is 144hz but it can go much higher than that it is exactly 160hz. Cons: HDR not great. Usb cable not provided so prepare one if you want to use the onscreen control and customization. No pic by pic mode: not like the biggest brother the 38inch or 48inch (Tech YouTuber review) which you can have two input source side by side. Lg should include a 5w or lower like 2w speaker inside the monitor but they didn’t even though something that screw me up is that the monitor have a bee sound when you turn on I guess that it made by some type of hardware resistor or transistor. The most important is the stand being this monitor that big: stand are ok but bullky and the base take half of my desk space. Also the stand it will bring the monitor closer to you, I wish this monitor bdoesn have the headphones hold on the back of the stand so I can bring my monitor back a little bit. Finally my main complain is that this stand is made with medium quality, if you move your desk or shake or even little force it will make the monitor shake crazy and that is bad for your eye if your monitor is shaking while you looking. I will update more in the future

Greater than one weekThis is the first “high end” monitor I’ve ever bought. I reviewed monitors for a long time, pulled the trigger on this one. I am replacing 2 22” 1080 VA 60hz panels and this thing is amazing. I highly recommend for anyone who is doing any type of content creation, works on their computer a lot. Only thing I would honestly change, but it’s not a common feature I don’t think, is a dedicated power button and a dedicated input switch toggle. But it’s not a deal breaker at all.
