Wow this is my first ultra wide monitor and Im still in awe at the amazing picture quality. I have an IPS Samsung Odyssey next to it so you can clearly see the color profile differences between a VA and IPS panel. However, I realize that VA has better white and blackness, which is more conducive to my productivity as I type and read documents a lot. Gaming on this is fast and the color calibration is unrivaled on LG! I As a casual gamer I cant justify spending between $800 and $1000 for a Samsung or Alienware ultra-wide, but this is such a great value (a steal when its on sale).

I have been buying multiple LG monitors and one is no longer working after 8 years. This UltraGear QHD 34 Curved monitor is just what I needed for gaming and working. I love the fact that it has a great price point and it is CURVED! More importantly, it is wide and able to generate 160HZ refresh rate with (3440X1440X with a 21:9 ratio.) I do find the screen somewhat whiter than other monitors that I have. I do find the stand design very stupid, it is taking up too much desk space.

Item is as describe. Picture quality it great. No complaints this far.

Ill be honest, I didnt sleep much last night because I was so nervous about getting a display with dead pixels. Some of the reviews make it seem like a problem, but the fact that there are only a handful for a few thousand reviews probably should have been more telling. Needless to say, my display is flawless. The picture quality is jaw dropping. It doesnt even feel like Im playing the same games. Jumping from 1080p @ 60 hz to 1440p @144hz is an insane difference and the color quality blows my old monitor out of the water. I am honestly annoyed with myself for waiting this long. As tired as I was, I found myself tracking quick action in fights and connecting shots way more reliably on top of being way more aware thanks to the expanded viewing area (turned my FoV in Apex from 96 to 110 since the screen is so much wider). Despite being dead tired, I played some of my best games just now. Assembly is a breeze, they include the display port cable you need to use to get max refresh rate, and it seemed well packed and easy to unbox from start to finish.

Replaced some old 27s with these. Picture and performance are amazing. 10-bit color @ 144hz on both of them. Games are fluid and beautiful. Text and charts are clear and sharp. The wide format gives plenty of space. Two displayPort connects instead of 1DP 2HDMI would be nice, but I knew this going in so no issue. The only true flaw concerns DisplayPort deep sleep mode. Most DP monitors have this but many provide a way to disable it. The lack of this feature causes Windows to think the monitor is gone when it enters deep sleep. On waking up, Windows will arrange ALL of your windows on your main monitor, which is extremely annoying. There are numerous people screaming about this online, but so far LG has done nothing, and it affects most if not all of their DisplayPort monitors. There are also numerous fixes online, none of which work. Summary: absolutely get this monitor if you will only be using one screen, and still get it if you can either deal with not sleeping them, or arranging the windows yourself.

This monitor was great for gaming and general usage, but I started having problems with it recently after a little over a year. I purchased this monitor in August 2021 to use with an RTX 3080. In January 2023 (5 months out of the 1 year warranty), I started seeing light vertical blue lines across my screen, artifacts across all inputs and with different input sources. HDMI inputs also flicker now which makes me dizzy. Other articles and forum discussion online suggests I am not alone seeing issues like this. For now, the artifacts have faded, but it has me pretty concerned about a product I spent $800 on. Ill update this review with more info if the artifacts become more permanent.

All is good so far but..... the product should include a 3.0 USB cable since it is the only way to use the USB ports on the back of the monitor. HDMI maybe as well so do not expect either one to be in the book. There is a generic DP cable that I assume is 1.4 compliant but I bought my own DP 1.4 to be sure.

Caught a sale for $297ish. Best bang for buck monitor on the market!
