> 24 hourOur washing machine was leaking and I was fearful we’d be out a ton of money to fix or replace. My husband took the back off and found that this piece was faulty. He replaced it with this very easily and it’s been working like a charm for over a month now. I have not noticed any of the whistling sounds that other reviewers mentioned. I was worried about that. Our laundry room is a few yards from the kitchen, but again, I haven’t noticed any odd sounds. Maybe if the house was quiet and I was trying to watch TV right next to the running washer I would hear something? This was identical to the original piece and I am very thankful this inexpensive part did the trick.

> 24 hour15 minutes repair, looks identical to the original. Just saw on the hoses one at a time to make sure you dont mix them up and remember they are dull of water so have a towel ready when you pull them off.

> 24 hourJust got the water valve and it took about an hour to get it installed. Worked like a charm. Just some background for others having LG washer issues. The softener hasnt been working, and after many, many many youtube videos I ended up checking the continuity for the solenoids, and they checked ok. ????? Well I decided what the heck Ill gamble $18 and get a new valve anyway. New valve, softener now dispenses correctly, who knew? One point of advice, if your water hose has been on a long time, save yourself some potential headaches and put in a new gasket for the connection.

> 24 hourVery easy to install. Solved leaking issue due to failed inlet valve. Works just like oem part.

> 24 hourI agree with some of the others that it is a bit louder than the OEM part. I have no comparison numbers, but I estimate it is about 20-30% louder. I have only been using it for a week, but the construction seems good. I think OEM version lasted about 8-10 years.

> 24 hourThis was a drop in replacement for the OEM part that had started leaking. It took maybe 10 minutes to replace the old part. Several days later and no complaints. My only concern is that the construction quality looks a little questionable and it has me wondering how long this part will last.

> 24 hourItem went on easy and seemed to fix my water leak. I have no idea how it will hold up over time but seems excellent in the short term. Only time will tell how long it will last.
