Greater than one weekI bought this toy for my granddaughter for her 1st birthday. It was easy to assemble, took about 1 hr. Everything lined up well and had all the parts. I bought it specifically because it was made in the USA and am very happy with it so far. She has only had it for a few weeks, so I cant comment on the wearability, but my kids had a similar item for years and it held up well. I appreciated that the directions were in easy to read, real English (not translated), with some funny phrases built in. She has the floor installed right now because its winter, but we will be taking it out in the summer and letting her propel herself. She loves it so far and is already making car sounds and beeping the horn. Great buy when there are so few choices of American made toys out there.

> 3 dayIm the Grandma and purchased this for our 2 year old grandson as I thought it would be a nice transition from something we push (even though this does have a handle for those instances) to him using his own feet as the peddle power I usually have no problems assembling these sorts of scooters/cars/trucks but this turned out to be a nightmare. I would suggest watching and following the video on the Little Tikes website for assembly, , not the paper booklet that comes with this truck. The video assembly is in a different order which seems to make much better sense. Other issues that I encountered: The O ring was a bit too wide, thus preventing positioning of the white steering clip under the O ring (which is absolutely necessary in order for the steering wheel to stay in place) I ended up using a Zip tie through the pre-drilled holes where the two ends of the steering clip should have gone. Also had a problem with the 2 screw/tabs used to secure the floorboard into place. The instructions show they easily snap into the predrilled holes--alas, not the case! It is a great ride on/ push truck, but we will only be able to use it a few times due to the 25 lb weight limit.

> 3 dayMy only issue with this toy is that the door keeps falling off. My son leaned on it as he was climbing in and the door came off. My son ended up on his back and started screaming. But now he knows the door is suspect so he enters more cautiously.

> 3 dayMy almost 3 year old got this from Santa. He absolutely loves it. I think its a good product for the sale price we paid, but a few things were a little disappointing. First and foremost it is a PAIN to put together. I guess I was naive thinking there would be less assembly. Never the less, it was the assembly of the roof that others also mentioned that was the major issue. We had to assemble differently than the instructions (we followed another raters recommendation to affix the pieces to the roof before affixing them to the jeep) because the holes that were cut were very rough and didnt match up well. Less of a concern was that there were scratches in the body of the jeep - like deep gauges in one place. Now I didnt inspect it before we assembled so I guess we couldve done it, but they are above the gas tank and not in a place where we were using tools. I think if we had done it we wouldve noticed. Also, the front wheels dont turn well on the hardwood in our house so my son gets frusterated especially if hes wearing socks trying to move around. The back wheels work well. If there were an option (even in a store) to have this assembled for us we would recommend that! We were up late xmas eve cursing this assembly but the look on his face of course always pays off!

> 3 dayGot this for my Grandson, very nice but the factory holes werent cut right to line up for assembly. After 2hrs, i figured out why it wouldnt go together, i had to modify the holes to fit right.

Greater than one weekI got both of my toddlers one last year. I got it bc it was taller off the ground then a lot of the others and I wanted them to fit it as long as possible (they are on the tall side. ) At 2&3 they loved this toy!! A year later they are still obsessed! A great buy. Super sturdy. My kids play rough and the youngest has tipped it a couple times…but even so he’s never been hurt and I’m sure he’d tip just about anything we got. They love to play with the trunk too. Definitely would recommend!

Greater than one weekOur grandchildren, 2 and 18mo. love this. We had hoped it would hold our slightly older ones but it is very small inside so if you have larger kids, I doubt they would fit.

> 3 dayThis wasnt too hard to put together, the video was helpful., I would recommend at least having someone around to steady pieces at different points. The door didnt exactly align and wont lock. You do have to put all the stickers on but the quality of them is really good and makes it very easy to put them on correctly. My nephew loves it and keeps treasures in the truck bed!

16-11-2024Took ingenuity from hubby to figure out how to get the front axle on… my little guy would have been so disappointed Christmas Day… didn’t have time to return and get a different one.
