> 3 dayStupid directions. Read and read and read again before putting it together. My granddaughter has the princess coupe and our grandson wanted to use her coupe too so the sharing was stressful. I bought the truck and they BOTH love it

> 3 dayThis truck is great. My son just loves it and gets upset when its time to go inside and put it up. He rides in it, pushes it around, loads up sticks and pinecombs in the bed to haul around the yard, seriously lots of fun. Its been very easy to push around even on our back yard that is a bit unlevel and has tree roots and pinecombs to deal with. It is steady enough that we can push it down a gentle hill and feel confident it wont topple over. And I just love how tall the roof is so parents can push it around without straining our backs. HOWEVER, we had the bum luck of being in the group of people with parts that just didnt fit. Getting this truck assembled was a 3-hour nightmare. It involved a hacksaw to make roof pieces finally fit together. Im a civil engineer who oversees marine construction and creates structural details on a regular basis and normally Im quite good at assembly projects. I was so thankful we had decided to put this Christmas gift together early and not on Christmas Eve night because it was simply awful. If I had purchased this at a local store I would most definitely have returned it. But since I bought it online and the cost or return shipping a large, heavy item would have put it out of our budget Im at least glad a hacksaw made things work.

> 3 dayI bought this truck for my friends two year old for his birthday. He is a truck loving boy and I figured this was the perfect gift for him as he doesnt already have a riding truck! The truck was an absolute hit at the party and he couldnt have been happier! As some of the other reviews have said, this truck isnt the easiest to put together. Im a semi handy female, but I enlisted the help of a male friend to get everything attached as some of the components needed a little elbow grease to get in. In reading some of the other reviews, people recommend putting as many of the stickers on as possible prior to assembling the truck. I HIGHLY recommend that...just make sure youre not attaching a sticker that needs something drilled underneath it (I made that mistake and now have a headlight with a screw through it). The stickers are extremely sticky and not easy to remove, so make sure theyre lined up to just about where you want them, if not, you might have a hard time getting them unstuck. The hardest part of the assembly was basically just lining up the pieces. The roof was a little difficult because in lining up all 4 corners, everything has to be precise. I recommend putting the roof top down on the ground and attaching it that way. The wheels were also a bit of a pain because the metal portion that attached to the axles and goes into the car didnt slide through easily (there were shards of plastic in the way of getting it in completely), so you have to push through those areas. Once this thing it put together, its an awesome toy. Im only giving a 4 out of 5 stars because I think the quality of the pieces given for assembly could maybe be a bit improved, making the overall process easier. At the party, the kids loved being pushed around on it as well as driving it yabba dabba doo style (as I call it) by using their legs. There is a nice tray that can be put beneath the seat so that the kids legs arent dragging while its being pushed. Overall, a great toy for kids once its put together. I hope it lasts my friends son a long time!

> 3 daySo as mentioned by others roof is tricky to put together. I tried following the directions twice. One of the rear supports went in fine the other wouldnt line up, and left a gap. I took everything apart and tried a different approach, which I found to work better. Lay the roof on its top and insert the rear roof supports, once they are in place and the seams and edges line up correctly secure them in place with the screws provided. Now go back and follow the steps to attach the roof to the front cab supports, the rear supports should be flexible enough to slide inside the cab area. If the front supports dont lock into place right away they will when you lift, the rear supports into place. After doing this everything should be lined up properly. Also put as many stickers as you can on before assembly begins, its a lot easier to put the grill stickers on when the grill is laying flat on the kitchen table. As others have said there are some holes that are not predrilled, but in an age where a cordless drill is $30 what is your excuse for not having one? Overall I found this easy to assemble, and my son should get years of fun out of it. I have tried to make it a bit more real by not installing the eyes or the mouth sticker in the grill. A quick trip to the junk yard scored me a 2003 Ram hood badge and two HEMI fender badges which with some automotive molding tape should make it a proper first truck. I found those fit best as a set, though Im sure a blue oval or bowtie will fit on the grill as well. Finally this is a Christmas present, I gave me son the box, today a month early. He isnt two yet and therefore doesnt realize what the box means for him. This way he has a month of box time, and on Christmas morning you wont have to watch your child play with the box instead of the toy. I recommend this to all!

Greater than one weekSon loves this truck. I wish they still made the black one... it looked more realistic and less like a character in a Pixar movie. FYI, you can assemble this WITHOUT the stupid looking eyes if you want. Assembly is relatively simple, but i can see where some have had issues. This is rotomolded plastic, so tolerances arent perfect. Some pieces you just have to muscle into place. Also, as many have commented, some of the parts come pre-scratched. You just have to deal with it. My son was scratching this thing from the minute we put it to use anyway. Tailgate and drivers side door operate. Theres a functioning gas cap as well. Two cup holders behind drivers seat, and the truck bed section behind the tailgate has what looks like four pre-drilled holes to mount a trailer hitch. If youre looking at the trailer accessory, i think it would work with this truck. The door latch is somewhat difficult to maintain latched, but your only other option is to permanently screw the drivers door closed (thats an option in the assembly instructions). Wife took it to the park with my son and a bunch of other kids and they played with it all day, often pushing each other around. Theyre too young to power it themselves (Flintstones style), so i keep the floor board in for now.

> 3 dayThis was purchased for a 1 year old and approved by his older brother. The removable shelf helps make this versatile. It allows the younger kids to sit inside without their feet dangling or slipping through. And then remove the shelf and the older kids can easily maneuver the vehicle around with their feet. His will last for many years.

> 3 dayTook ingenuity from hubby to figure out how to get the front axle on… my little guy would have been so disappointed Christmas Day… didn’t have time to return and get a different one.

> 3 dayThis truck is exactly what I was looking for for my grandson. He is 13 months old. It is perfect for him. I like that there is a handle on top to easily push him around. My only complaint is that the door doesn’t stay on well.
