Greater than one weekI have a fearless 1 year old that we bought this for his birthday. Definitely recommend for any little boy or girl outside or inside. Ours goes where they go. My issue is the door lock and the door being hard to close. Could’ve been assembled wrong which is my next point. 10/10 recommend not having a 3.5 year old help. Assembly was rough with more pieces than expected and my husband said instructions were not clear. Took him longer than expected. Also the 3 year old put the stickers on in all the wrong places but that doesn’t bother us really. I love the parent handle on top that lets you steer it for littles that they cannot reach the ground. Also great for letting it fly down the driveway and grabbing it to a halt before crash landing. Kiddos love this. We didn’t use the floorboard because my 3 and 1 year old switch out who’s driving every 11.6 seconds. This was a great buy and would recommend it over some of the other options.

18-11-2024So as mentioned by others roof is tricky to put together. I tried following the directions twice. One of the rear supports went in fine the other wouldnt line up, and left a gap. I took everything apart and tried a different approach, which I found to work better. Lay the roof on its top and insert the rear roof supports, once they are in place and the seams and edges line up correctly secure them in place with the screws provided. Now go back and follow the steps to attach the roof to the front cab supports, the rear supports should be flexible enough to slide inside the cab area. If the front supports dont lock into place right away they will when you lift, the rear supports into place. After doing this everything should be lined up properly. Also put as many stickers as you can on before assembly begins, its a lot easier to put the grill stickers on when the grill is laying flat on the kitchen table. As others have said there are some holes that are not predrilled, but in an age where a cordless drill is $30 what is your excuse for not having one? Overall I found this easy to assemble, and my son should get years of fun out of it. I have tried to make it a bit more real by not installing the eyes or the mouth sticker in the grill. A quick trip to the junk yard scored me a 2003 Ram hood badge and two HEMI fender badges which with some automotive molding tape should make it a proper first truck. I found those fit best as a set, though Im sure a blue oval or bowtie will fit on the grill as well. Finally this is a Christmas present, I gave me son the box, today a month early. He isnt two yet and therefore doesnt realize what the box means for him. This way he has a month of box time, and on Christmas morning you wont have to watch your child play with the box instead of the toy. I recommend this to all!

> 3 dayI was so excited for this for my boys. Little tykes used to make a quality product but it seems they are slipping. The floorboard so you can use this for babies absolutely won’t go in. It doesn’t even really fit into the empty space. And you can absolutely forget the securing tabs fitting into the holes since they are located in the wrong place (see photo) we also could only get one of the back roof supports to pop into place. This was even after we drilled the hole bigger. This caused the roof to sit crooked and not align correctly. Also, one of the front wheels was very snug when we put it together so it barely turns and also barely rotates. Sometime it just drags across the floor. The kids still seem to play with it but I imagine they will get frustrated since it doesn’t want to roll correctly. And I hesitate to push my baby around in it in case his feet get caught under the wheels. Do yourself a favor and find one for sale that’s already put together so you can inspect it for any issues ahead of time

Greater than one weekThe eyes did not fit since there were no grooves on the supports as described in the directions. When I called for directions I was told to watch the video on Youtube. Which I did. They were helpful but they were not in the same sequence as the written directions almost backwards from the written ones sent with the truck. My 1 year old Grandson loved the truck as it was a big hit. I would suggest watching the video before attempting to assemble.

> 3 dayOh boy! This little 20 month old toddler lost his little mind when he looked into the room where I had parked THE TRUCK. (whew, and after assembling it while he and Mom were not here. Now he even sits in it to watch TV shows, take his bottle or juicy-box, etc. He loves the door---open and shut, open and shut...and the horn is hilarious! (not annoying at all) So get your little tyke a LITTLE TIKES TRUCK.

> 3 dayThe yellow frame didnt fit correctly into the blue base. Trying to push and rotate the piece into the base ended up almost destroying the yellow piece and it doesnt fit into the blue frame at all. Attached pictures show the top fitting, the front right frame piece not fitting into the blue truck base, and the tailgate of the truck not sized right and it doesnt fall into the notch provided to keep closed. My kid has also inadvertently made the door come out of the frame because the plastic it is made of is too easily moldable.

> 3 dayWe love that this style has a floorboard that easily comes on and off. Siblings can push a younger child with out fear they will break a foot! Wis( it had some kind o& seat belt, though.

Greater than one weekMy grandson loves this truck. He is one. The only problem is that the door comes off very easily when it isn’t locked. It shouldn’t fall off like that.

> 3 dayCannot use the tailgate due plastic alignment/ hole location. The tailgate is always down. Everything else assembled well. Kid enjoys getting pushed in it. Pushes and steers well.
