I have been purchasing these Little Tike Cozy cars/trucks since 1982 - the first one for my son when he turned 2 and the newest one - a truck for my 7th grandson. It has been a tradition to get the grand kids one of these when they turn 2. Having put these together many times, I already knew to take my time, READ carefully each step. Takes a bit of pressure to put some of the pieces together. On this truck (the first truck I have bought for the g-kids) the only thing NOT working was the horn. I did follow all instructions regarding pulling the tab out after removing the cover, but the horn would not work. Since my g-sons birthday was the next day, went ahead and used the broken horn on the truck. Called Little Tikes this morning and they are sending a new horn, should be here in a couple days. Very friendly, nice CS and extremely helpful. These cars/trucks last for years and I was very happy to continue the tradition with this g-son. Very well made, can be an indoor or outdoor ride and LOVE all the extras on this truck - tailgate & bed, cupholders, and gas cap. My g-son is crazy about the truck!

I love Little Tyles but I am not happy with this purchase. Be sure to inspect the front wheel body at the top prior to assembly. The one I received wasnt molded correctly so the wheel axel wont go all the way through so I wasnt able to attach the bushing or top hat. The wheel rolls but not very well and if I pick up the truck the wheel falls off. Dont see how I can return it now that it is put together....very disappointed.

We got this as a birthday present for my son who just turned 2. It took a while to build (a couple of hours) but the main issue we had was with the wheels. There is a very, very small difference in thickness between the front wheels and back wheels. So slight that I had to check several times to see if I was working with the correct wheel. We didn’t see any indication on the instructions that there was a difference and ended up hammering the metal cap onto the wrong wheel. This led to having a single wheel not fitting and us having to figure out why. I believe there are numbers (cav 5 & 6) but not sure if that was supposed to be the indicator? Anyways - to remove the cap after it was hammered on - I had to remove the axle from the car and pry the metal cap off using steel pliers (slid wheel and hubcap away from cap so that force could be focused on metal cap). If you see this before installing the wheels, test that the front axles go through the wheel and hubcap and have enough space to place the metal cap. The wrong wheel won’t allow enough space for the cap when the axle is inserted through. Having the wrong wheel in place can cause other fit issues and may even lead to the wheel falling off. Other than that snafu - the truck is great! I’m very impressed with the quality and happy we got it. My son loves it!

    Greater than one week

This truck is great. My son just loves it and gets upset when its time to go inside and put it up. He rides in it, pushes it around, loads up sticks and pinecombs in the bed to haul around the yard, seriously lots of fun. Its been very easy to push around even on our back yard that is a bit unlevel and has tree roots and pinecombs to deal with. It is steady enough that we can push it down a gentle hill and feel confident it wont topple over. And I just love how tall the roof is so parents can push it around without straining our backs. HOWEVER, we had the bum luck of being in the group of people with parts that just didnt fit. Getting this truck assembled was a 3-hour nightmare. It involved a hacksaw to make roof pieces finally fit together. Im a civil engineer who oversees marine construction and creates structural details on a regular basis and normally Im quite good at assembly projects. I was so thankful we had decided to put this Christmas gift together early and not on Christmas Eve night because it was simply awful. If I had purchased this at a local store I would most definitely have returned it. But since I bought it online and the cost or return shipping a large, heavy item would have put it out of our budget Im at least glad a hacksaw made things work.

I got this truck for my little guy for christmas and he loved it so much that he took forever to open his other gifts. I was afraid of ordering it online just in case we had assembly issues like other reviewers did but the pieces went together very easy, and my husband was done in no time, he only used a screw driver. The directions were simple and direct and it did look great once was completed. Its not as easy to push as a push car and a bit more challenging specially going down hill but I figure it will grow with my little guy and before long we will remove the floor board. The floor board and the handle are a great feature as it allows the parent to push the child around without risking dragging their little feet, the lock on the door is also a nice feature as little ones cant jump out of the moving vehicle. My little one was very comfortable in it with plenty of leg and head room, he loves to go beep, beep and the sound does not drives me crazy as some other horn sounds do. I like the fact that it has 2 cup holders, they are both located in the trunk, wish one was in the front so my little guy wouldnt have to turn his body to grab his cup but happy I have a place to put my water bottle. He usually takes a stuffed animal in the trunk also. I would recommend this truck for parents who are looking for either an alternative to the classic cozy cope or who wants to be able to push their child in a cool truck.

We bought this for my son’s first birthday. It’s been a huge hit. He is too short to maneuver it with his feet so we currently have the floor in. He can climb in and out and open the door with ease. He loves being able to open the trunk and place random toys in. He’s not a huge fan of the horn but it’s a nice feature to have. Putting the decals on was somewhat of a pain but the rest was pretty easy. Took my boyfriend about 10 minutes to put together himself. The wheels turn rather easy and haven’t encountered problems with it on carpet.

My only issue with this toy is that the door keeps falling off. My son leaned on it as he was climbing in and the door came off. My son ended up on his back and started screaming. But now he knows the door is suspect so he enters more cautiously.

We got this for our son for his 1st birthday. It’s awesome. He’ll use it for years I’m sure. Everyone that has seen it comments how cool it has the floor for him now and that we can remove it when he gets older. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!!

Bought this for my grandson and he loves it! Can’t hardly get him out of it. I love that the door locks so he can’t fall out. The floor in it is great, he loves to go on walks in it!
