This headset claims to specifically support Xbox but you still have to plug a usb into the single front usb port you have on the series X just to use it. And don’t even think about using the port in the back because for some reason it won’t work correctly so be ready to forever dedicate that single port to this headset. The volume buttons for the game and party chat are pointlessly complicated, the xbox doesn’t pick up the headset as Bluetooth so it doesn’t treat it as such, meaning no battery life indicator on screen and no mute indicator in party chat etc. however with all that being said, sound quality is amazing and if that’s what you’re going for then you may be able to look past the other annoyances. My turtle beaches kept falling apart so we’ll have to see how this one holds up.

Im going to start off with the two redeeming qualities of this headset before I get to the many reasons I will be returning it. The sound quality despite it not having surround sound capabilities is very nice and it is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time (10+hrs). Now, the microphone is extremely quiet and even with software to add gain and the device volume on my PC turned all the way up people still have trouble hearing me and sometimes the bug that makes you louder after you mute and unmute is enough for me to be able to communicate and sometimes it isnt. The boom microphones position doesnt stay in one place when set and requires constantly being moved so it doesnt sit on your face or at least directly under your nose. Youd think that having an app on your phone for fine tuning wouldnt be bad but not having the option for PC also just adds extra problems when the headset just decides to disconnect from your phone (which no other blue-tooth device that I own does) OR your microphone just randomly mutes itself with no reliable way to unmute it. Muting itself is rare but still unacceptable and not only does it mute but also randomly stops making sound while still being turned on and sending a microphone signal AND if you think turning it on and back off again will solve it as it does with a lot of things SOMETIMES IT WONT TURN OFF OR BACK ON and sometimes when you unplug the USB and plug it back in the microphone still wont work and I dont mean not work for specific programs I mean in windows devices where it only shows up because it is connected there will be no sound level for the microphone and Ive yelled directly into it just to be sure it wasnt just so low it wasnt picking it up. Those are the reasons I am returning this headset but they arent even the only problems, just the ones that make it unusable and unreliable on a constant basis and when reaching out to Amazon I was told to contact Astro and Astro has not sent a single email about it other than the automated email confirming that the support ticket had been made and I have waited twice the amount of time that they claim to respond in and there has been no mention of higher than usual requests to let anyone know that their response time may take longer. The other problems are that it isnt surround sound which Id expect from a headset this expensive, while using the microphone on my phone it wont be usable on my PC, a bug that decreases the headsets volume a large amount when changing the volume on my phone up or down but increases the volume by the same large amount when changing the volume directly on the headset so you need to play with changing them both for your desired volume which is really annoying to do when answering calls, and the loud sounds it makes when it turns on, off, connects, or disconnects from anything that you cant control the volume of but when the battery levels are low (rare as that may be) the sound indicating that isnt as loud, and the range for both blue-tooth and USB connection could stand to be a bit longer but that is probably the least of complaints to have with the plethora of problems above.

The only thing I had a problem with was the pads made it seem very hot but I got what I paid for but overall great

Adjusting the volume between the game and party chat isnt simple I cant really tune one up or down at will it is all or nothing. The volume wheel doesnt work that great it would be nice to adjust through the Xbox to really fine tune what you want to hear and what you dont. Otherwise its good I can hear everything very clearly weather Im playing a game or watching a movie and it doesnt feel bad to wear.

I have a hard time finding a headset that’s comfortable for extended use. I work from home and play games quite a bit. I love the ability to plug and play from my PC to my Xbox without the hassle of wires. It’s super comfortable to wear during meetings and extended gameplay. No complaints so far regarding sound and mic quality. Highly recommend .

I have had this headset for about 5 months now. It consistently has made crackling and popping noises, and recently the mic has stopped working properly. I believe it is because of the blue tooth connectivity. I reached out to Astro, and they only sent me trouble shooting instructions which have not worked. I don’t know if I just have a faulty headset or if its a bad product, but it looks like Astro is saying I am out of luck. This is expensive headset that should not have these problems, and the customer service is poor. I do not recommend buying. <update> Astro is sending me a new headset. I will update to 5 stars if my new one isn’t faulty because overall I do like the headset when it works correctly.

This headsets quality is literally amazing, after alot of troubleshooting and struggle it works flawlessly everytime I boot up now. First of all if you dont use a console or have more than 1 USB port occupied on your computer then you literally will not have enough power to keep it fully connected. I had to buy a USB hub for it work which is so ridiculous. The Astros software is actually terrible, you download a app on your computer and it literally does nothing its the craziest thing that they would have a headset of this quality have it not work right out the box and give it a awful software to go along with it. The last thing is that their customer service is hard to get a hold of, is not very friendly (multiple conversations) and at the end of the day probably wont help you with your situation. These headphones are awesome they work very well, Battery lasts all day, no problems connecting and charging, and surround sound. but only after it gave me a couple of headaches and having to explain to my friends my sick 120$ headphones dont work until after 20 minutes of playing with it. If you have money to blow and actually are good with computers then these are great headphones. Otherwise your better off spending 50$ for something with a wire instead its not that big of a deal

Got this for my PC as Id seen it was on sale and highly recommended. I dont understand the high reviews for this product. The sound quality is no different from the 15$ wired headset this was replacing. The mic is okay. Definitely dont hear everything around me when playing games as most people seem to swear happens. I am guessing most of these reviews are just hype. The padding is foam/mesh, which makes my head sweat and i do not like it. It is nice that I can get up and do things with them on, but the sound on this headset is definitely not high quality. The equalizer settings all sound the same-no difference in audio quality so not sure why thats even a feature. Theres no way to tell when youve turned the dial all the way up or down as it doesnt have a stop. Well, youll know its at max because despite turning the dial up the audio stays the same. Even at max I still have to adjust the sound mixer on Windows to get the volume I want. Honestly this headset is not worth the price. I plan to return this and find a cheaper one.

Great fit on the head and ears and clear found. No issues with the microphone and easy flip up mute design.

Ive only had these for 1 hour but so far they sound better than my turtle Beach Gen 2. I play a lot of games were hearing matters and I also like to listen to music loudly these headphones are pleasing in both topics. These are definitely worth their price turtle Beaches lost their day in the sunshine I will not go back
