Greater than one weekThe sound quality is a solid 6/10 I had a $30 headset and it sounded better than this. This almost sounds grainy and I personally won’t buy another Astro headset. I’m disappointed in the amount this costed me for the quality. •The mic is pretty good I give it a 8/10 •The buttons are also convenient so you don’t have to manually adjust audio mid game It has its pros and cons. It’s a okay headset but definitely not worth $120 the steelseries is a better quality headset and cheaper

> 3 dayIts a great wireless headset. But if youre expecting something like the A40 or A50 with EQ profiles, noise gates, mic settings, then you may be disappointed. It comes with 3 total EQ presets that you can change by pushing a button on the headset. The Astro Command Center does absolutely nothing when you connect this headset except for asking if you want it to default to PC or Xbox mode. Otherwise its all blank. The headset cant be modded because none of the parts are replaceable. The mic boom doesnt come off either. One major problem Ive been experiencing is that the microphone seems to pick up a lot of room noise. Either it has no noise cancelation or its an omni-directional mic, because it picks up people talking like 10 feet away, and it picks up my laptop fan noise sometimes. Unfortunately theres no setting available to adjust noise gates. Sound quality is excellent, just make sure youve got Dolby Atmos. You can also use the free Windows Sonic instead, but I found that on some PC games like Call of Duty, Windows Sonic doesnt work correctly. The main reason to get this headset is that its the cheapest wireless Astro headset, and it supports both Xbox and PC out of the box. Its definitely an upgrade over the Turtles. But it may not be good for you if you are in a noisy environment

15-04-2025I bought these to use for my PS5 and PC. The Dongle doesnt know if it is plugged into a Console or PC and you have to toggle with the button to the correct color immediately after plugging it in. I wasnt able to test it on my PS5, but when using it on my PC, my mic would disappear and couldnt be found. The instructions for what color is what is in picture format only and printed in black and white. I thought that it might be a firmware issue and found that it didnt have the latest firmware installed and every installation attempt failed. I was looking at getting away from turtle beach and thought this would be a good alternative. I was way off the mark for a $120 Price tag.

> 3 dayHad them for a couple of weeks and love them so far. Only thing I dont like is that volume resets every time I turn it on and game/voice volume are controlled by the same wheel and switched by pressing different buttons.

> 3 dayNice headphones feel comfy, easy to mute. Price wasn’t bad. Sometimes when I’m in party or game chat they can hear my AC and some background noise is only complaint but it’s not all the time

> 3 dayI like the fit and quality. But the battery drains fairly quickly if you play every day. I can play with the headset plugged into power to recharge but it goes from warning you the power is low to being off very quickly. The sound is good.

> 3 dayThis headsets quality is literally amazing, after alot of troubleshooting and struggle it works flawlessly everytime I boot up now. First of all if you dont use a console or have more than 1 USB port occupied on your computer then you literally will not have enough power to keep it fully connected. I had to buy a USB hub for it work which is so ridiculous. The Astros software is actually terrible, you download a app on your computer and it literally does nothing its the craziest thing that they would have a headset of this quality have it not work right out the box and give it a awful software to go along with it. The last thing is that their customer service is hard to get a hold of, is not very friendly (multiple conversations) and at the end of the day probably wont help you with your situation. These headphones are awesome they work very well, Battery lasts all day, no problems connecting and charging, and surround sound. but only after it gave me a couple of headaches and having to explain to my friends my sick 120$ headphones dont work until after 20 minutes of playing with it. If you have money to blow and actually are good with computers then these are great headphones. Otherwise your better off spending 50$ for something with a wire instead its not that big of a deal

> 3 dayIt’s comfortable around my ears. The only problem I have is it leaves an imprint on the top of my head where the bar is on the headset. There isn’t enough padding in the design. Fix this and you have an A+ product. I gave it 3 stars but it’s truly a 7.5/10.

> 3 daySo it works with ps4 and pc , you have to press the button on dongle to switch between both modes. Astro command center does not work with this headset. Connection can be hit or miss sometimes. I ended up returning it due to the cost. If I pay $100 I would expect item to perform well. If you use it in single mode it might work perfect but I have to switch between console and pc so it doesnt work for me.
