Use to turn on/off exterior spot lights in my property. Smart plug works very well and setups/integrates easily into Lutron app. But, I did have to move my Lutron hub to a more central location in my house as one plug was initially out of range

I am using this remote device to control a hot water circulation pump that is installed in the garage. I have it programmed to run on a daily schedule and 2 Pico on/off switches. Right out of the box it just worked. Now, when one of us wants to shower it no longer is necessary to go out to the garage and manually turn on the pump; the Smart Plug takes care of it. Like all Lutron Caseta products, this just works.

The Lutron Outdoor Plug was a quick and easy install. I have several Cassetta dimmers and smart plugs, and addicting this outdoor plug to my systems was very simple. Just plug it in and the WiFi bridge immediately located it and I just added it as another one of my smart devices. I wish the wire (that actually plugs into the electric outlet) was longer and not just “pig-tail” length, but that is the only real shortcoming I have found … and it might not be a shortcoming for most others. Overall am very satisfied.

I have a lot of Lutron Caseya gear, must be close to 20 switches. This is the first that didn’t work as advertised. I set this up and found that it would only ever turn on remotely, never off. I tried to reset it and resting it but could not get it to pair again from my outside outlet that couldn’t have been more then 40 feet from my hub and only an inside and outside wall between them. I brought it in and it paired ok, so not sure why it can’t pair from the outside but my guess is the communication was blocked somehow.. when you make an outside outlet you would think they would ensure it works from the outside!

I Legit LOVE Lutron. Caseta and RA2 are amazeballs. Works perfectly with IFTT and Home Assistant without any issues EVER. IT JUST WORKS.

I set up two of these smart plugs with the Lutron app. They work perfectly. Setup was super quick and easy. I use them to turn on/off our commercial Keurigs so that theyre off overnight and turn on (and warm up) first thing in the morning. Im hoping that having the machines off overnight will help to reduce the burn-in that was occurring in the cheap Keurig LCD screens.

This is the FIRST outdoor Wi-Fi smart switch that has not failed. Other brands at 20% of the price are unreliable. Strongly recommend this, especially if losing connection is a serious problem. Worth every penny.

Installed to switch garden path lights but the wireless signal does not reach the switch unless it is plugged into an outlet right next to the house, My transform for the lights is installed in a shed next to the house, too great a distance apparently.

Easy to install and program.

I replaced some older Insteon equipment with the Caseta hub, switches and now this appliance controller. All is working well and is easy to use.
