Greater than one weekThis is my first time using gouache. Actually I thought I bought acrylic paint. I was using it and I’m like this stuff is so much better than my other acrylics. It is so much smoother, easily glides on, and leaves such smooth feeling art in my art journal. I love this stuff and I’m so glad I accidentally bought it. Now I’m onto the new medium of gouache and so excited! I can’t say enough about it.

> 3 dayM. Graham is an excellent company and makes a wonderful line of paints. I paint in watercolors, and use this in small amounts in specific situations (including covering bloopers)!

> 3 dayOpaque, matte, highly pigmented. Everything I could ask for in a gouache paint. I put some into a half-pan size try to dry and it reactivated beautifully years later. The white is more opaque direct from tube, but for a travel palette working from dry it was still very strong using enough water to reactivate it. I was greatly impressed by the fact that it did not crack into pieces in my travel palette, making it one of the most convenient gouache paints I own. I would have liked a Magenta/Cool Red, but I was able to mix quite a few colors with this set. My tubes were consistent in texture and pigment load.

18-11-2024This is my go-to black watercolor, and you cant beat M. Grahams quality. Their addition of honey to the mix does seem to keep the paint workable, longer, and the price on amazon.com cant be beat!
