> 3 dayive mainly been using gouache for plein air colour studies. this is the only brand ive used and i dont see much reason to ever change. just like any medium, it works about as well as you know how to use it, but that only extends so far as the product quality, and mh graham gouache can apply for all skill levels. however, its ridiculous that this is priced at $26 cad for a singular 15ml tube. id recommend just skipping amazon and ordering in bulk on jetpens, the tubes are only like $7-15 usd (they dont convert it to cad for some reason). international shipping is $10-20 depending on how much youre ordering, and basically free if youre ordering multiple paints and from the usa. im only buying here because i dont have time to wait for jetpens 2-4 week shipping.

> 3 dayWow!!! Ive been experimenting with watercolors for about 6 months now, and decided to try this nicely priced set of primary colors. Swatched them out, put them through the paces. They rewet nicely, the colors are vibrant, and they blend beautifully. Less chalky than a beginners set I bought a few months ago. Love the colors they produce. Very vibrant. Very scrubbable too. Adding my 2 tests, the purple was gorgeous.

> 3 dayPackaging is terrrrible. The tubes themselves, not the mailing. Like others have said, prepare for about 1/10 of your red to come bursting out as soon as you pop the cap. The sealed end of my black also erroded, making an unfortunate mess, not to mention the waste of paint. The blue, as other have notes, is really runny and separarea from the binder so takes some finesse to ready it for use. White and yellow were good to go so I guess 2 out of 5 aint bad? Probably will not buy M Graham again, which is unfortunate because all I see us praise for them.

> 3 dayExcellent paint from M. Graham, as usual. Smooth and creamy right out of the tube, and keeps this consistency for a decent amount of time until it inevitably starts drying, like any paint out there. In gouache painting, I find it useful to have both a titanium white and a zinc white (also called Chinese white in other brands). The titanium white is very opaque and great when used alone as a white highlight; the zinc white is less opaque, and because of this it tends to mix cleaner, brighter colors. I find that colors mixed with titanium white tend to have a certain cast to them.
