Very pigmented. Only complain is the packaging. The box it comes in is fairly too large.

Very nice white whith strong opacity

Use it where I need an opaque white and mix it with color to make it opague. Can also be used to cover up an error if paint is not too dark.

I have purchased these in many colors and they are consistently beautiful and have a wonderful matte finish. Well pigmented and professional quality. Gouache is really a pain to work with, in my opinion, but it can really have great results. These are not acrylic gouache, it will re-wet and cannot be layered - it’s a super delicate medium and it will dry quite a bit lighter so I try to mix the colors accordingly and mix up a good amount of paint if I need to use the same color again.

I have spend the past two weeks playing with this gouache. I am just beginning, but wanted to use a quality product so I could evaluate the experience better. This gouache has no fillers, etc., so your images are more colorful. Dont be dismayed that there are only five colors. With these five colors, you can create the rainbow. I wish the company made some of the other 5-color packs like they do for their watercolors and oils.

Potent and creamy straight out of the tube, and mixes well with paints from either the same brand or other brands. Since its a phthalo, it tends to overpower other colors you mix it with, so try to use it with a lighter hand than your other paints.

Favorite goauche

M. Graham makes the nicest paints. this is no exception. Its really fantastic. It comes out of the tube a fantastic consistency and lays down on paper opaque without streaking. Even adding to a cheaper gouache like arteza it improves the consistency and reduces streaking. Love this stuff.
