Greater than one weekIm a Mac user with a partitioned Windows 7 on this laptop, and because my main system is Mac, I was a little fearful it wouldnt work given the description doesnt mention it on here, but I got it in the mail and woah ho woah hey, no downloaded needed - just plug it in and it works flawlessly. Just connected the USB part, synched it properly, and boom, I was playing. It works great also on my windows segment, as expected. so if youre a mac user and on the fence, i was there too but it works great. *Using Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.6

> 3 dayThis works perfectly out of the box and makes it easy to use a Wii U Pro Controller as either an Xinput device or up to four controllers as DirectInput devices. Itd be nice if it supported more than one Xinput device at a time, but I assume there are technical reasons for that limitation. Note that by default, the device maps the face buttons on the Pro Controller to the equivalent Xbox controller buttons based on their letter -- but A/B and X/Y are flipped in position between the controllers, so the buttons dont end up in the positions you expect. Fortunately, if you install the latest official firmware on the device, you can flip the button positions so that theyre exactly where you would expect.

> 3 dayIt works perfectly with an official Wii U controller from Nintendo. Unfortunately my 3rd party knock off SNES Wireless Pro Controller for Wii U did not work which was a huge disappointment because thats the main reason why I bought this adapter to use it. My lesson learned is stay away from untrusted 3rd party junk and stick to name branded devices with good user feedback.

> 3 dayThis device allows up to four Wii U Pro Controllers to connect to the PC and interact as human interface devices, which is perfect for general PC games. The controllers react to the PC without delay and without a hassle for setup. Just plug in the device to a USB port and let it seek for any controllers, just like a Wii (U). I have even tested it with the Afterglow Wii U Pro Controller, a third-party decice, which would not be recognized by traditional Bluetooth communication, unlike the official Wii U Pro controller. Nevertheless, regardless of the brand, the controller operates perfectly. In addition, the adapter allows the controller to operate as an Xinput device, which is very useful for games requiring the official Microsoft controller. One adapter will only allow one controller connected in this mode, but, for the majority of PC games which use only one Xinput gamepad, its not a problem. The controller still interacts and emulates the Microsoft Xbox controller, from the thumbsticks right down to the triggers. There may be methods to connect the controller to the PC, and such techniques simply require a Bluetooth adapter and the right drivers. However, when I could not get my Afterglow to be recognized by my adapter, I veered to this solution instead, and I do not regret it. Even the light-up LED feature on my third-party controller functions with no fail, and I would not consider any other method to attempt, given the money invested and the payoff from the devices reliable functionality.

Greater than one weekI was recommended this adapter by a youtube video to connect my wii u pro controller on my nintendo switch system. It connects to the wii u pro controller but when I try it on the switch it does jot work. I even tried connecting it to my Macbook pro so I could use it with to play games. And still didn’t work.

Greater than one weekWorks well and has given me 0 hassle on the functionality side of things. The only issue is that the natural state of the left stick was slightly off-centered, more so than with my other controllers. Im fairly confident this was not the controller as there was no such issue with the actual console. It forced me to use deadzones in emulators and was sometimes awkward in racing games. I was, however, able to beat Dark Souls with a Wii U controller, proving the adapter works well.

Greater than one weekOriginally opted to use a bluetooth adapter in order to use my Wii U Pro Controller as I already owned one that I used to connect Wii Remotes to use in Dolphin. However that proved to be excruciatingly frustrating in order to even get the controller connected in the first place and even after doing so the controller doesnt function exactly as youd expect it to with its odd sensitivity, having to constantly remap in other software, etc. While it worked I ended up giving up and grabbing a Mayflash anyway. All I can say is that I wish I had done so in the first place as this method is practically plug-n-play (you do need to install its drivers first). Once you have those drivers installed youre basically set. As long as you dont resync the Wii U Pro Controller, anytime you turn it on the controller will automatically connect to the Mayflash. The buttons arent mapped to the same exact positions as the Xbox 360 controller but they are matched to the correct letter buttons. The rumble feature works in games that provide it and overall the controller functions perfectly as you would expect it to.

> 3 dayThis thing is great; it works as advertised and was very easy to set up. I bought it primarily for playing games in Steam Big Picture and it certainly gets the job done. When operating in xinput mode, controller-compatible games work with zero-configuration. As others have mentioned, buttons are mapped to their respective letter which creates a small problem since X and Y are swapped relative to the xbox controller layout. This takes some getting used to, but its not a big deal. For some reason I cant configure the controller in Steam when operating in dinput mode. Using the controller, I can navigate to the configure controller screen where buttons can be mapped, but the controller stops working at that point and I cant map any buttons. Havent quite figured this out yet, but I dont think its an issue with the controller. This isnt a big deal since xinput is probably the way to go when playing games in Steam.
