I really like the Wii U Pro Controller, so I thought Id give this thing a try before purchasing a dedicated controller for my PC. Im very glad I did. The ability to invert A/B and X/Y after the firmware update is a nice bonus for me and shows that the manufacturer takes customer feedback seriously. Ive used this on copies of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 without issues anywhere. I very much prefer the Wii U Pro Controller to the Xbox Ones. With this thing I can fire up the Windows 10 Xbox app, enable streaming, and play my Xbox One games with the controller I prefer.

WOW!. 10 stars. First of all there are some inaccurate answers posted here about functionality and I want to clear those up. This thing works great on pc, even better than a xbox 360 controller. Only downside I see really is the triggers on wii u pro controllers are more like buttons but it actually improves response times I think. This made me realize how much more responsive and faster it feels like using a wii u pro controller than even a wired in 360 or ps3 controller, even works on ps3 and way better I think than ds3 controller. If you have a OTG cable you can plug it in to your android phone or tablet and it works just like a wired xbox 360 controller just use xinput on the switch. I had some gta games on my phone like san andreas and vice city I havent played in forever because of the controls but it works perfectly like or better than it did when I played it on ps2. 10 stars.

this works beautifully with my alienware X51. recognizes the controller as a 360 controller. only thing that you gotta get used to is the abxy mapping. as you know, the a and b, as well as x and y are reversed. once you get used to it, u will play like a pro. the connector port only connects one controller at a time so you will have to buy two or more for multiplayer.

Im writing this review specifically for those of you who plan to use this with Retropie. I bought this based on a searchable internet thread that recommended it as a solution to a PowerLead Wii U Pro Controller that wont pair to a Raspberry Pi 3 B+s built in Bluetooth. This is in fact a fix for that problem and works beautifully. I plugged it into my Raspberry Pi running RetroPie and fired up the Pi. There is a Pairing button on the Mayflash that you push and also one on the PowerLead controller that you push second. After doing that I found the Controller told me it was paired with the Mayflash but the Mayflash was still blinking like it wasnt connected. So at that point I held the A button on the Controller and after a few seconds the two were connected. Beautiful. No problems since.

If you are a WiiU owner looking to use that WiiU pro controller on your PC? This is the device for you. Installation is as easy as plugging it in. With a toggle switch you can select between Dinput and Xinput. It effectively tricks your PC into thinking your WiiU pro controller is an Xbox Controller. It works great for games like MGSV too. Once its plugged in all you have to do is hit the sync button on both devices and your in business. It removes the hassle of trying to configure your controller through Bluetooth on your PC.

Have to say I wasnt sure if I could get this work after some woes a friend had with wireless controllers and emulators, but we had 4 Wii U Pro Controllers sitting around that we dont really utilize. Setup was easy. I just installed the drivers/software from the disk before plugging them in and they were recognized in RetroArch. I did have to go through and assign all the buttons, but RetroArch makes that easy. Have been working great for over a month.

This works as advertised with a minor issue. I updated to the latest firmware (released February 2015) and lost the ability to use the Home button at all. In X-Input mode this used to emulate pressing the XBox button on an XBox controller. I contacted Mayflash about this and they do not intend to bring back the function of the Home button. On the other hand, you can hold the + and A/B buttons to swap the mapping of the A/B and X/Y buttons to match the placement of the XBox controller or match the letters on the controller.

I got this to play Final Fantasy XIV on the PC. Because the cross-hotbar is way faster than mouse & keyboard, and I liked the D-Pad, button, and analog stick layout. Made playing Black Mage so much easier than the PS2 controller Id been using that finally died on me after many years. What can I say, this just works. Its simple to install. Install the drivers first, plug the dongle in. press the sync button on the dongle, then press the sync button on the Wii U Pro Controller and youre done. I also using this with the same controller to play the Batman Arkham series games, and its 360 Controller mode is excellent for that. Vibration works too. No hassles, no complicated configuration screens, it just works. NOTE: Mayflash make a version that works with the PS3 controller, and its just as simple to setup and use. Why struggle with the piece of crap MotionJoy, go and buy this already!

I bought this adapter to attach a few Wii U Pro Controllers to my WIndows PC and it worked really well! I have successfully connected two Pro Controllers to Dolphin, PJ64, and VisualBoyAdvanced. The adapter worked with 3rd party pro controllers. I have tried a bunch of different solutions for a seamless wireless controller experience with Dolphin. This bundled up with a few pro controllers ended up being the best solution.

I like to play steam games with a controller and wanted to connect my Wii U controller. This adapter has worked perfectly and held up over the years. It comes with a disk to install drivers but I dont bother with it, just plug it into the pc and it will install drivers itself.

Functioning distance of up to 33 feet away from adapter. Input switch with 2 input protocol modes for extra versatility. Direct input (standard hid protocol) supports 4 controllers at the same time. Xinput (xbox 360 controller protocol) supports one controller per individual adapter. All buttons (except for power button), shoulder triggers, analog sticks and their clicking tops are fully functional. Compatible with Windows 98,xp,Vista and Windows 7 and Windows 8(32 bit and 64 bit versions). Operation notes - how to set the turbo function? To set turbo for individual buttons, press and hold the home button and the button you wish to set turbo for. To remove the setting for that specific button, press and hold the home button and the button you previously set turbo for. To clear all turbo settings for all buttons, quickly press the home button twice within half of a second. If the input switch is set to the direct input mode, the controllers are recognized as standard human interface device. Your controllers can be calibrated at the windows gamepad setup screen. Up to four controllers can be recognized by a single adapter while in this mode. Setting the switch to xinput mode will make it possible to fool certain pc games which lock out proper input modes from the user unless an xbox controller is attached (for a list of these games, check Wikipedia). While in xinput mode vibration feedback is available. The drawback is that while in this mode, only one controller can be recognized by the adapter. If you want to map your buttons to keyboard keys, look for joy2key software online.
