Greater than one weekI read the reviews that it’s says that this product was the best one of the cheapers and generic ones but to me was not that awesome. I should say that I have never own an adapter to convert to hdmi of any console. I’m new to this because I’m just reviving my wii. Anyways, if you compare this to the original wii components it does look better, of course, but for instance, it might be my tv but on skyword sword you can’t see the eyes of link, the eyes looks very pixelated and distorted. I own a LG TV 43” UHD 4k and to have at least a better quality y use the ratio 4:3 and also, I did not see much change goin to 480i to 480p on the wii. I thought at least you would see the game like on those old tvs back in the day when we play on those but no. Like I say, it might be my tv’s fault.

> 3 dayI got both this version as well as the generic wii2hdmi that most are selling, and Ive found out that not all wii to hdmi adapters are created equally. With the generic one, I see more wavy diagonal lines. With the MayFlash, the picture is smoother, the diagonal lines are gone. You need to go to your wii setting and set it to wide screen and 480p. You also need to go to your display source and set it to widescreen as well. Everything looks proportional, the image is not stretched. This is a keeper, the other one is being returned. BTW, I should mention that Im using an ultra short throw projector with a 120 screen. With such a big image, maybe it is easier for me to see imperfections. So that should tell you how good this adapter is. It got rid of the lines I was seeing with the generic version. So on smaller screens, surely this adapter will do a great job for you.

17-11-2024It works exactly like I needed it to. Very simple to just plug in and play. It made me emotional to bring my childhood Wii back to life.

> 3 dayBought this after checking reviews on similar devices. I had a different convertor and it was ok, but not great. This convertor makes the Wii look it did with an analog TV, which was pretty good. Try it..youll like it...

> 3 dayDefinitely worth the extra $7 over alternatives. I had a 2017-ish Wii hdmi converter for years. It was comparable to AV cable with different trade offs, but image quality was slightly inferior to games running in the WiiU vWii. (Built in hdmi) Eventually the old adapter case started to fall apart. The old adapter was so long, I was afraid the hdmi cable would torque out the video plug from the back of the Wii. This new adapter produces far more vibrant, sharper and consistent picture than any other options I’ve seen including vWii on the Wii U. Text is much more readable as a result. Both Wii and GameCube games come across as almost modern remasters or as though they were run through a good pc emulator.
