I bought 2 of these 1 for me and one for my cousin. The HDMI converter has no input lag, no scan lines, and is about 25% smaller than other Wii 2 HDMI devices out there. This is definitely worth the higher price!

Seems to be pretty adequate at doing what it is supposed to do: convert the analog signal to digital. This means your TV has to do the work of taking that signal and stretching (scaling) it. Depending on the TV, this could mean the image gets blurry or sharp. It could also mean it adds input lag (latency). But thats the TV, not this device. If your TV has component (red, green, blue, white, and red) inputs and you have the proper cables, this will probably perform the same. If you dont have everything you need for component, though, this will get you the best raw image the Wii can provide.

This does work on a Sony X85K TV (2022 model) I didnt need to connect a 3.5mm audio cable. The sound came from the HDMI as well. Image quality looks like RCA cables connected to a modern HD TV. It doesnt upscale or improve quality but does the job. My current tv does not have RCA connections

There are better, more expensive ways to convert AV to HDMI if you want your video quality to be the best possible. But this is cheap, and it does its job. Very convenient since now I dont have to use outdated AV. I would recommend

I read the reviews that it’s says that this product was the best one of the cheapers and generic ones but to me was not that awesome. I should say that I have never own an adapter to convert to hdmi of any console. I’m new to this because I’m just reviving my wii. Anyways, if you compare this to the original wii components it does look better, of course, but for instance, it might be my tv but on skyword sword you can’t see the eyes of link, the eyes looks very pixelated and distorted. I own a LG TV 43” UHD 4k and to have at least a better quality y use the ratio 4:3 and also, I did not see much change goin to 480i to 480p on the wii. I thought at least you would see the game like on those old tvs back in the day when we play on those but no. Like I say, it might be my tv’s fault.

Tv does not detect the signal at all.

Tried to make it work on Nintendo Wii, tried different HDMI ports on Samsung QLED 4K TV, did not recognize device or connection at all. Big disappointment.

Since most newer TVs dont have old school RGB or RYW audio and video inputs my old Wii sat idle for a long time. Only recently think about some of the older games and how my granddaughter might enjoy them like my (now grown) kids did. The Mayflash Wii to HDMI 1080p converter was inexpensive and did exactly what I had hoped it would do. The Wii now proudly sits along side my XBox and PS4 and displays beautifully on my 65 Samsung. My granddaughter and I have already enjoyed several Lego Wii games as well as Wi Fit for my wife and I. This is a no-brainer for anyone wanting to adapt old Wii tech to newer TVs.

Ive tried the others and all have one issue or another. This one just works. No noise in the video and no crackling sound.
